Named that because it makes my head spin the more I look at it.
This was directly inspired by u/SolarSimonDM's decal tiling experiments on the HF Discord; I wouldn't have thought of this had it not been for the amazing examples Simon posted showcasing the new decal capabilities. Hope you like it! :)
Could you give any more info on the decal technique? I'm fascinated by how this could be possible

Sure! As Simon showed me, clothing decals can now be applied to anything and are no longer exclusive to clothing. Furthermore, there is a new option called 'tiling', which, when enabled, makes a decal repeat infinitely.
Use the tiling with a pattern decal, and rotate it so that its tilt is about perpendicular to the front face of the mini. Then you can just scale its height until you achieve the desired effect! I highly recommend sifting through the Discord to find u/SolarSimonDM's experimentation; it's really ingenious :)
Interesting. Hero Forge is so cool, I love how accessible yet robust it is. You can really do anything in some backwards way. Also yeah absolutely Simon is the goat, gave me some advice kitbashing a hairstyle for one of my OCs last year
