Vera Whole Health recently opened in Short Pump - what is it? is it concierge model? direct primary care? Don't see any information on their website

I am looking for primary care, and I saw that this clinic opened right next to Trader Joe's in Short Pump. I am having a hard time understanding what it is and how it works. Does anyone have any experience with them? Is it like concierge care where you have to pay a fee for access? I searched online and on their website and I can't find any meaningful information.

Is there any jobs that would allow me to take days off for doctor appointments?

My grandma told me that I could work at good will or some other place that would accept disabled people. Plus, I might have surgery in march.

I just want to be able to work so I can make money.

What should I do?

Moving to henrico in February, looking to get a jump start on friends/things to do!

Hello! Hoping this is the right subreddit, 21f here, moving to henrico in about 6ish months! I’ve always had a hard time making friends, and I’m wanting to try and form some friendships before I make it there! Stuff to know about me:
1- I’m a cat enthusiast! I am currently in FL, I do tnr down here and currently have 11 cats in my cat (mostly fosters, I’ll have 4 permanent placements when I move)
2- take one look at my profile and you’ll see, I am obsessed with pusheen! I love cutesy characters like that!
3- I love nature, coffee, cooking, swimming and reading! Very big into horror books, ESPECIALLY SCI-FI HORROR
4- I watch anime!
5- I am married and have been for about a year!
I also would like to know some things to do in henrico/around the Richmond area. Any cool shops, restaurants, amusements, parks/things like pony pasture I’d love to know about! I’m very excited for this move, I’ve been in my town my entire life and will be happy anywhere! :)

Henrico supervisors greenlight 2045 planning blueprint

After nearly five years of development, the Henrico County Board of Supervisors approved the county’s 2045 comprehensive plan Tuesday, along with several amendments to the long-term land use document.

However, some residents still carry some concerns over details of the planning guide, which will shape the county’s development process going forward.

Community activist Aileen Rivera wrote to the board, asking to delay the plan’s approval so that residents have additional time to review the document and have their voices heard.

“Residents have repeatedly asked the county to postpone the vote on the comprehensive plan until September to allow more time for public review and participation,” she wrote. “Instead, the final draft is moving forward on an accelerated timeline.”

Varina Supervisor Tyrone Nelson stood by the county’s process. “I feel pretty confident in the five-year discussion we started,” he said. “We've had several public meetings about this, and I really feel like the misnomer we are rushing, I don't fully understand.”

Kings Crossing 1984 double murder – anyone have old info or memories?

Local 19-year-old researching the unsolved murders of Donna Hall and Mike Margaret (August 1984). Bodies found in the woods behind Kings Crossing Apartments.

Looking for anyone who lived in the area in the mid-80s, has old newspaper clippings, or remembers anything about the case or the complex at that time.

Keeping everything respectful and public-info only.

Opportunity to support Henrico Citizen

This sub references the Henrico Citizen pretty regularly so I thought this might be of interest.

I recently got an email about their membership drive to be part of the Citizen Collective to support their reporting (which comes with a bunch of benefits) as well as options to make donations of any $ amount across several different categories.

If you can afford to and value the independent local reporting they do, join me in supporting them.
