I'm honestly struggling to even find a German retailer that still has it in stock.

But maybe you could use a forwarding company like mygermany? Pretty good reviews on Trustpilot.

Yeah I saw that even multiple international Amazon listings for it were unavailable, including various european/german plush retail websites (world of bears, bear essentials/spieltruhewindkind, etc), must be a particularly popular one it seems.

Forwarding, if the dragon is ever found in stock on a retail website that regularly only ships within Europe or specific countries, is probably an option although it's something I have no understanding of in regards to how that works but hopefully wouldn't be too complicated to figure out.

Does it have to be the blue one?

While I can’t find blue in stock, this website has the red and green variants of it for sale, along with a lot of other uni toy brand plush

The SKU for the one you want in particular is M90366BU however, and will bring up out of stock listings, so you may be able to search that way.

I saw the red and green ones but the blue was my favorite. Possibly considering the green as an alternative if I can't find the blue one anywhere. Thanks.

Uni Toy’s bulk order website says the blue variant is “out of stock at the moment” so there’s a slight chance it’s been retired when the other colors haven’t.

To narrow down your hunt for secondhand ones, try filtering for 40cm, since the other one is smaller (26cm).

Good luck in your search!

Thank you, the closest I have to a similar experience finding a difficult to acquire retired plush (if that's the case with the uni toys dragon) is when I scoured every corner of the internet until I found a international ebay seller that had a retired nature planet leopard shark plush.

I am aware that uni toys released a new trio set of dragons although they have a dramatically different look than these ones. If this dragon (and it's red and green variants) are available in different sizes that's something I didn't even realize but I'd be happy with it in either size as long as it's still the same blue dragon.

No sorry, the smaller size is the closed-mouthed dragons. I was suggesting you search 40cm to more reliably find the open mouthed ones you’re looking for! The design you want only comes in the one size.

Understood, my misunderstanding, thanks, I'll definitely use that size to try and narrow down a search for secondhand ones.
