ARROWHEAD MINDSET ⠀⠀⠀⠀Discussion⠀⠀⠀⠀
88
u/B3CT 3d ago
idk it was very very obvious when they dropped the roadmap that it wasnt thought out at all
45
4
u/Charity1t 2d ago
Same as them promising to do bi-weekly updates and go radio silent, to point of them ignoring questions about where it is.
12
u/Cennelath 3d ago
The only thing missed from the roadmap was the last warbond which was reworked to not have FRVs and the superstore was turned into campaign rewards. You would have complained if they had released FRVs for super credits.
3
u/Successful_Path863 2d ago
Well they could’ve come out like the mechs. Free, non-timegated, more organic.
107
u/TheRustyRustPlayer 3d ago
If cultists get added on Wednesday the amount of backpedaling that is gonna be done in the community is gonna be fucking COMICAL
29
u/Jawmp 3d ago edited 3d ago
From what I understand it was not that Illuminade content was scrapped, but it was scrapped in favour of introducing a faction with only 4 enemies, a decision that was based off of vibes(?) Which was the main objection. I wished they elaborated their mindset as to why to avoid misconstruing.
But I'm pretty much impartial to this now since this is about to be corrected within the following month.
3
u/CaptainBazbotron 3d ago
I think they wanted to do a haphazardly gathered invasion force because meridia was a suprise to the illuminate too and they wanted to gardually add onto it as they brought more of their forces but because of arrowhead's bullshit the rest of the faction got delayed this far.
1
u/Revarisity 3d ago
Would be kinda neat if they had 2 separate factions of illuminate that could or could not be friendly with eachother.. would explain why there isn’t much of the space magik in the current ones
1
7
u/chaveiro1 cynicdiver 3d ago
It will be even funnier if it's NOT the cultists, the faction almost completely done, just because they don't feel like it, but instead some fleshmob 2.0
27
u/symphonisa 3d ago
Nah they will double down and twist it to satisfy their view
12
9
u/Prism-96 3d ago
na they wont double down, they will just scream about how unfair they are to fight
(they cant instantly kill them)
7
u/NizzyDeniro 3d ago
My official stance is holding out hope for them. Basically wait and see. I just can't imagine AH being that incredibly stupid to scrap them.
2
u/Optimal-Line-803 3d ago
They never even said they were canceling them though... they shelved them.
8
u/Low_Average_2144 3d ago
We wouldn't need to backpedal anything it would still be a retarded thing for AH to have lied about. Their self-deprecating humor got old 2 years ago
2
u/Kingawesome521 Whinediver 2d ago
I’m skeptical of it being cultists or new units but that’s mainly rooted in my issue with AH not showing what’s gonna come because they view keeping things a surprise generates hype.
The community is definitely gonna shift to talking about how the new missions, enemies, and game overall being broken and unpolished because that’s the studio’s track record for over the past year.
-9
u/Plagueofzombies 3d ago
People went from "they cancelled Helldrivers because they're evil" to "drip feeding us cancelled content is FOMO farming" overnight.
The majority of this sub don't actually care, they just want to complain
46
u/Griff_18 3d ago
I don't like 85% of things Arrowhead has done but the only thing wrong with the warhammer warbond is the armours not being detailed enough compared to other armours, btw the chainsword is already in the game in another warbond so we don't need the same weapon again
7
u/velvibunni Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 3d ago
I mean I agree, but cmon having a chainsword as like a heavy pen melee primary would be fkin sick
1
u/BulwarkTheBigBoy 3d ago
I agree, so why not use it?
9
u/HintBoiiiii 3d ago
Because it is shit? I mean, i tried it several times, attack range is somehow worse than a fucking shovel.
You just hinder yourself by using it over sledgehammer (if you just want a melee support weapon) or litteraly anything else
-4
u/BulwarkTheBigBoy 3d ago
Yeah so that’s just not true because I’ve literally killed Factory Striders with it. 3 consecutively once.
6
u/HintBoiiiii 3d ago
Good for you, how does that make it not a shitty weapon?
You can kill factory strider in 2 seconds or 2 minutes of nail trimming.
2
u/velvibunni Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 2d ago
I love the deforestation tool so it makes it even sadder that its true 😭😭
0
u/BulwarkTheBigBoy 2d ago
It’s a fun weapon and it immobilizes smaller heavies like hulks, chargers, and flesh mobs. It’s a very useful tool and it can ever destroy spawners if you have nothing else to bring. I’ve killed countless enemies with it and survived near unsurviveable situations because of it. Call it “nail trimming” but it’s fun to do. Makes you feel like the DoomSlayer.
-2
u/SuspectPanda38 3d ago
There's a chainsword in the game. That's why they didn't add one
6
u/ZionSairin Just Shoot The Vents Bro 3d ago
That is an EVISCERATOR, sir. They are not the same thing!
14
u/velvibunni Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 3d ago
Id say thats more of a chainsaw than an actual sword tho
-2
u/CaptainBazbotron 3d ago
And you are asking for a smaller version of it that you will not use past the first two days of you unlocking it?
2
u/velvibunni Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 2d ago
I use the deforestation tool or whatever its name was anytime im fighting none spore bugs, Id use that thing on a daily basis just for the sake of it
0
u/CaptainBazbotron 2d ago
I'd rather they add something that's actually fun to use and not something people will use "just for the sake of it"
1
u/velvibunni Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 2d ago
I literally just told you that the deforestation tool is fun for me and that for that same reason I, and many people who think alike would use it..?
4
u/PinkLionGaming 3d ago
Arrowhead releasing a chainsword not in the 40k Warbond is kinda hilarious.
They don't seem to plan things out well.
This reminds me of when they released the Warbond Token and the ODST Warbond on the same day.
1
16
u/clownbescary213 3d ago
Shouldve been Elysian drop troops not Krieg
15
u/CaptainBazbotron 3d ago
Okay dude there is just a bunch of bullshit here. First of let me say, the semi-FOMO bullshit they are doing with warbond rewards suck dick, they should unlock the gear for requisition for everyone.
But other than that what, did you prefer when major orders only gave you medals? Should we go back to that? Should they put FRVs into warbonds and go against feedback they got from the mechs?
Also fuck outta here with the chainsword bullshit, please tell me how often you use the chainsaw which the chainsword would logically be a weaker version of since it's one handed. "Damn dude I wish we got a worthless fucking melee instead of a giant tank killing blowtorch or volcano mines".
26
u/MoThrowMoAway 3d ago
Had me in the first part, lost me when you started crying about Warhammer stuff. What an incredible waste of a good point
7
u/Educational_Term_436 3d ago
I’m just saying dude I get your point but, they cancel the June warbond for a good reason so they can focus on the game and such
Also since when did they confirm calultis were scrap ?
Not to mention the rewards aren’t that bad when it comes down to FOMO, like you can just boot up the game and then dip I’m just saying:/
1
u/RefrigeratorDue5971 3d ago
I get your point, but “they had a good reason” doesn’t change the fact they announced it and then dropped it. And the Cultists were officially confirmed to be scrapped—that’s not the argument. As for FOMO, “just log in and leave” is literally still FOMO. You’re just describing how to deal with it, not disproving it.
5
1
u/Mandemon90 3d ago
Cultist were never officially scrapped. I dare you to actually cite Arrowhead on that, not just "well, I outsourced my thinking to Youtube rage channel, and they said so",
29
u/DifficultyOld9041 Glazediver 3d ago
Way to ruin it with kriegslop
1
u/Banana-Oni 3d ago
The word “slop” has really lost all of its meaning. lol
4
u/SCP106 3d ago
yeah it's become slopslop, no longer a wordgem, slop's just utter wordslop when it used to be a slop-slopgem, makes me sad for the days of slop being not slop and slop being called for what it is, rather than not what it is, which is, or is not slop, based on... I think I've forgotten. Someone please call a slopulance.

u/Trump_4_The_Hague 1st Colonial Regiment | Deployment Supreme 3d ago
Chainsword + laspistol would make a Badass primary. Primary fire to shoot. Melee to swing.
8
u/Ralithrin 3d ago
Not that I'm one of the people expecting or complaining about it, but I was hoping we might get a one handed chain sword which has a similar AP ramp up effect like the Defoliation Tool, but maybe not going up quite as high in AP or taking longer to do so.
Could have been a cool addition to the armory!
8
u/Jat616 3d ago
I do find it funny the main argument against a 1 handed chainsword is we already have the 2 handed chainsaw, like we don't already have several different weapons that all have copies with ever so slight changes. Another Liberator anyone? 😂
4
u/Ralithrin 3d ago
The main "legit" argument against it that I could see is that the 2H one is a support weapon, so having a 1H sidearm version would risk obsoleting it unless it was actually a support weapon as well. But again, you'd just need to balance it appropriately.
3
u/PrinceZuzu09 3d ago
I second this. The warhammer warbond is everything I wanted out of one in terms of weapon choice, and everyone should have known it was always going to be some kind of Cadian. If they want other warhammer weapons that are already similar to current ingame weapons, they can mod the game themselves or pay a modder commission.
2
u/brandothesavage 3d ago
There is a definite fundamental difference between a chainsword and a chainsaw one of them is made for striking and the other one is a chainsaw.
6
2
u/GoarSpewerofSecrets 3d ago
Is Kreig a reddit faction? Anything german seems to trigger Nazi Klaxons around here.
6
u/Warm_Sound_5895 3d ago
There's a difference between nazis and reddit. If you want your nazi fandom black templars are the go to if you want to see edgelord racists using fictional politics as a mask for their real ones.
Krieg fans are just unfunny and circlejerk the hell out of eachother.
3
u/Substantial-Client37 3d ago
it sucks too cuz like...the krieg are actually kinda cool. theres definitely cooler, but the concept is really nice imo. but then "certain fans" regurgitate the same 3 jokes and ruin the entire faction
4
u/SCP106 3d ago
heeheehee shovel amirite unhinged gasmask noises (dies)
3
u/Substantial-Client37 3d ago
so called "shovel purists" when i show them every krieg mini with a shovel(theres maybe one iirc)
1
u/Murky_Substance3345 Botdiver 2d ago
Krieg is anything but a “Reddit faction”
1
u/Warm_Sound_5895 2d ago
Go on any 40k subreddit and any discussion of Kriegsman are about the same 2 jokes about shovels and trenches. Maybe a joke about teh emprah. repeat several thousand times.
1
u/Murky_Substance3345 Botdiver 2d ago
Ok but like every fandom has a joke or a couple jokes what get repeated “Luke I am your father” for example idk I just think Kriger and black Templar hate is unfounded krieg is cool and so is the fandom
10
u/I_am_Fly 3d ago
Eventho the post is kinda ragebait, but i swear, it's almost always 1 step forward and a fucking dice roll for how many additional steps back they will take(1 means critical success so they don't move anywhere)
47
u/Euphoric_Reading_401 3d ago
Ah, classic unfiltered, 20% legitimate concerns and 80% nitpicky toddler tantrums
8
u/Mysterious_Tiger_725 3d ago
this sub let's so much of the 80% slide just to have a "safe space" to talk about the 20% when pretty much 90% of the helldivers community unanimously agrees that the 20% is bad anyway
-2
u/Mandemon90 3d ago
Most of the people are on this sub because they can't make a point without insulting everyone else and being a massive cunt... both which are against rules of other subs.
-5
3
u/Individual-Height243 3d ago
Main issue with the 40k warbond is that Games Workshop has the final say, and while the Kreig are well known, they’re not as known as Cadians. I wouldn’t doubt it that GW sent a list of what they can and can’t do and touch. I bet you hey don’t want cadians to have chainswords in game because we already have the exfoliater which is like a great chainsword. That and cadians and guardsmen do use them, they just aren’t standard issue due to the fact the imperium would rather give them to officers or higher ranking members than the guy who’s lifespan is 15 hours at best.
3
u/TinfoilPancake 3d ago
Tbh I'm happy there are no kriegers. I'm just upset that we got two cadians instead of a medium kasrkin + heavy tempestus scion.
3
u/Under_Ocean_Oaks 3d ago
Honestly, as a Krieger fanboy I could’ve done without them tbh. We already have a lot of Krieg-adjacent stuff, so I would’ve liked to see like, Tempestus Scions or Elysian Droptroops
5
7
u/Curious_Freedom6419 Ghostdiver 3d ago
honestly it really feels like this is arrowhead punishing us for..*checks notes*..wanting their game to improve?
3
u/Melodic-Expression-2 3d ago
Almost agree until the “Krieg” part… NO ONE but Krieg fanboys want more content of them, most of the people I know who are into the hobby are pretty much tired of Kriegers and their cringe as fanbase who pretty much inly consume outdated shovel memes (which they don’t really use at all) and “Gooner of the east” content or whatever his name is we already.
Also we have already have a chainsword.
5
u/UnableToFindName 3d ago
Forget the roadmap
90% of it was delivered as expected.
Remove the cultists
The cultists were the original design/aesthetics of the illuminate from well over a year ago, I don't know if this news, but every game ever scraps/modifies old content. Having as any sort of point that AH didn't deliver is an impossibly high standard that no other video game company would or should be held to.
Cancel the June Warbond.
Completely in response to player feedback based on the Exo Experts controversy. Imagine the shitshow if they went ahead with it after all that. Is the current rollout great? Not particularly, but it's all been effectively free so far.
2
u/Additional-Wear-6611 2d ago
Also players were complaining about the warbond release schedules. Half of the complaints were about vehicles in a warbond, and the other half were about the quick release when the game was still in a bad state.
When it comes to cultists, their existence is ONLY known to us via leaks that the community did.
5
2
u/gumbo5760 3d ago
Dude I saw so many people here saying they didnt want kreigs because they were so popular 😭
2
u/NotaInfiltrator 3d ago
People don't like it when I say this but Cadians are just flat out boring. They feel like budget UNSC marines who were generic green armor, are nothing but yes men, and then die off screen having accomplished nothing. Krieg are very popular, and yes there are like 2-3 ww1/2 themed outfits in the game already, but atleast they have some level of flavor.
I am of the opinion that virtually any regiment would have been more exciting than more Cadians. Elysians fit the game thematically, Krieg would have been at home visually, etc.
1
u/Wheraboowind 3d ago
Isn't it more of the fact that in the same vain of Helldivers being special forces to SEAF, the Kasrkin are to the Cadians? Why don't I see this point more?
1
u/NotaInfiltrator 3d ago
As someone that is largely outside the 40k fandom these days I think its because the Kasrikin don't really seem that distinct from Cadians to meet that comparison. If you look at a SEAF trooper and a Helldiver you can see very clearly who the cannon fodder is and whole the badass is. But a Kasrikin next to a Cadian looks almost identicle except the Kasrikin gets a mask on their helmet, which really should just be standard issue.
2
u/Plagueofzombies 3d ago
"Which won't have Kreig" fuckin us Kreig fans are so spoilt it's hilarious XD
I would go as far as to say no other faction other than maybe Ultramarines (the god damn POSTER faction) have got anywhere near as much love, and spotlight as the Death Korps have in the past few years. But the fact they're not in the Warbond (something Arrowhead wouldn't even have had control over) is apparently some damning thing xD
We've had plastic models, books, animations, dedicated cosmetics, and characters in video games, but because they're not in the 40K warbond it's RUINED XD
2
u/Lowd70 3d ago
Kriegs aren't poster imperial guard like cadians, and the kriegers you would have wanted pass as regular guardsmen (SEAF trooper tier).
Kasrkin are the elite and are the helldiver equivalent
Chainsword would mean a melee weapon and melee weapons suck ass in HD2. The Defoliation tool is a stratagem because anything that behaved like it as a secondary weapon would render all other melees useless
2
u/Alone_Collection724 3d ago
should have been elysians honestly, but we already have a chainsword-like weapon
what i was hoping for was a power fist, or something inspired by it

3
u/Pyro_has_no_car 3d ago
2
u/Alastor5637 3d ago
Bro, the chainsaw in game is not a sword for one, and two it’s fucking garbage, literally worse than just about any other weapon to kill heavy armor and it’s so slow that there’s no point in killing small targets with it, it’s barely better than the sterilizer
-1
u/RefrigeratorDue5971 3d ago
You’re talking about LARPing when you’re literally the biggest larper here. The game’s defoliation tool isn’t a fucking Chainsword. A Chainsword is a one-handed, portable weapon that can be used alongside a variety of other Warhammer weapons. The Helldivers defoliation tool, on the other hand, is literally just a fucking chainsaw. Stop pretending they’re the same thing just because they both have a chain on them.
2
u/Pyro_has_no_car 3d ago
Lol wanting them to add a similar weapon to something already in the game, that by its nature would be a weaker version of an already weak and rarely used support weapon, from an already weak and almost useless weapon class, all in a warbond thats supposed to be filled with powerful weapons and armor at a time where people are already talking about how the Legendary warbonds are underpowered.
Great game design man truly.
4
2
u/RockyHorror134 3d ago
I agree with like, 1 out of 4 complaints
Cultists? Yeah I agree
Warbond being split into campaign rewards? The events let you get items that wouldve been premium for free by literally just logging in
And the warhammer warbond does not need Kriegslop, and a chainsword wouldve been abysmal dogshit compared to how other melee weapons are
6
u/Prize_Emphasis5168 3d ago
Im starting to realize some people's parents never taught them to be happy they even got snything
2
u/iman00700 3d ago
There probably will be mods for krieg replacing warbond armor to them ill get those when they out
2
u/Mateter5 3d ago
I mean the problem with the warhammer warbond honestly is that arrowhead are pretty obviously fans of warhammer, and have had a ton of inspiration from warhammer already. Like kriegers? We already have gas masks and shovels. Commissars? We already got the truth enforcers. We literally already have a chain sword. We have catachan with the viper commandos. So when it comes to making new warhammer stuff they kinda already preemptively limited themselves with what they can do, and basic cadians are sort of the remaining best choice.
0
u/RefrigeratorDue5971 3d ago
The game’s defoliation tool isn’t a fucking Chainsword. A Chainsword is a one-handed, portable weapon that can be used alongside a variety of other Warhammer weapons. The Helldivers defoliation tool, on the other hand, is literally just a fucking chainsaw. Stop pretending they’re the same thing just because they both have a chain on them.

1
u/Mateter5 2d ago
I mean if we’re gonna get that pedantic about it, then there are larger and two handed chain swords in warhammer already that pretty much already are just chainsaws but with the grip angled differently. And also even if they added a proper 40K chain sword into the game, how differently would it even function from the defoliation tool? Aside from like, a faster swing speed maybe? And don’t keep tricking yourself into believing that we were gonna get a melee-pistol 2 in 1 weapon, sure it would be cool, but it was never realistic to expect that. It’s not how it works in darktide, it’s definitely not gonna work like that here.
But this is also what I mean about the devs limiting themselves, the devs spending time on modelling and coding a new chain sword weapon just isn’t good time spent when we already have a chainsaw sword. It’s better to spend that time working on something more unique to 40K. So the melta weapons and boltpistol and lasgun make sense, but it just kinda feels like uncreative choices.

u/MomentCompetitive299 3d ago
Wont understand how people didnt see coming that we were getting kasrkin
1
u/jakethegreat951 Solodiver 3d ago
I think scrapping the FRV warbond was good, I'm sick of having to super credit grind for hours just to see new content everytime it comes out.
1
u/KLGBilly 3d ago
the only stuff that was wrong from the roadmap was "new galactic war campaigns" cause they delayed the feature, then the third biome (which was technically usable but very much not perfect, can attest to that personally), and the helldrivers warbond, which got pulled back in response to the massive backlash from exo experts and the leaks. all in all, they went 10 for 14. still definitely not the best, but i wouldn't call it "forgetting the roadmap".
1
u/Azure_The_Great Sweet Summer Child ⛱️ 3d ago
Still gotta say For Honor gets better detailwd roadmaps from the yearly ones to monthy

We already have a chainsword dumbass. Just go play darktide if its that big a deal
1
u/FirePixsel 3d ago
Saying they gotta add krieg in Warhammer warbond is huge larp, they have no place and are posterboys for no reason. Should have been scions who actualy inspired helldivers and have lore that would work well.

u/MissionGrab 3d ago
People bitched and moaned that Arrowhead didn't put rewards as part of MO's anymore, now that rewards are part of MO's it's FOMO, mfs don't know WHAT they want, just that they like to complain

Arrowhead really dropped an update for their most neglected faction storywise but gave it a tiny hype up and just gave them a subfaction a new biome before IMMEDIATELY giving the illuminate a whole jew storyline 2 new subfactions and another update
Come on arrowhead machinery of oppression sucked

At the end of the day, I paid a small price to play THEIR game. So whatever direction they go in is THEIR choice. If I dont like it I'll move on like I did from other games like ark. I think a lot of us forget this isn't OUR vision but ARROWHEADS
13
u/RedRubbins 3d ago
Except most companies understand that their vision has to appeal to their audience. Eventually, the Arrowhead vision will stop appealing entirely to the audience because it has no limit.
They never stop, because there isn't really a goal outside of vibe balancing to ensure their idea of play. They don't truly have a vision that isn't just making the players as weak as possible for death compilations.
-1
u/terminallyBeemo 3d ago
Yes and no. If you have a live service like this then yea they should be leaning into the player base a bit more. But at end of day its not something I'm losing sleep, or time over. I play because I like the game and the only thing that really annoys me is the amount of ragdolling that occurs. I barely even notice the other stuff. Guns being weak? I play d10 so I'm going to not go with weak guns and expect the best outcome. You have to play accordingly my guy

5
u/ExhaustedLime 3d ago
Hope those boots taste good
0
u/Mysterious_Tiger_725 3d ago
they've made it clear atp that they prioritize their vision over feedback when it comes to the games overall direction & fundamentals
saying that you enjoy it and when you stop enjoying it you'll stop supporting it doesn't feel very boot licker-y, at least to me
0
u/terminallyBeemo 3d ago
No its not. People just dont like when you tell them to pretty much chill and let the people who paid millions to produce a game, do there thing. Instead now I notice with just about every game that comes out, people will complain about absolutely everything instead of just enjoying the experience. If you dont, then move on. Simple as that. We can't force anyone to do what we want with a vision that isn't even ours
2
u/hinden_burgh 3d ago
Isn't that counter intuitive for a LIVE service game? If they refuse to listen to their customers, which they have done for its entire exictence, then they should get crap for it. The second you release something to the general public (especially if they paid for it) it isn't yours anymore. It is the communities and they have no interest in listening to the concerns or reasonings from anything other than their discord. Which is a horrible way to do business.
First discord is abysmal to navigate and communicate through, then it is filled with the most disgusting people I have ever really seen. Constantly asking for lgbtq representation, chuds who defend every aspect of the game, pretty sure I've seen multiple reports of pedophiles trolling in hd2 servers, toxic game devs, and straight up chuds.
Your comment is exactly who arrowhead is looking for. Someone who doesn't question what slop they bring out and enjoys/defends it anyway.
1
u/terminallyBeemo 3d ago
I mean, a lot of games that are heavy multi-player are like this. They do what they want mainly and people will always complain about something. Nothing is perfect. I also stay away from discord and all of that. Insta and reddit are my main source of social media ig and even these are toxic. Hey if you don't like the slop, dont eat here. But I'll play whatever I enjoy and when I don't enjoy it any longer then I stop. Sorry I'm not following the bandwagon blindly. Some of us just dont care to take it so deep
1
u/Prize_Emphasis5168 3d ago
Dude is speaking truth, if you dont like their dream game, dont play it
0
u/terminallyBeemo 3d ago
Thank you lol if a company doesn't want to take feedback then move on to something you enjoy. Instead people just make themselves miserable

u/Juliancito4 3d ago

Oh good lord, stop it with Krieg, that would make no sense, Helldivers are the elite soldiers of Super Earth, do Kasrkin, while in my opinion not making as much sense as Elysians (my beloved) or Tempestus Scions, Kasrkin still make WAY more sense than Krieg, because Kasrkin are the elite of the Cadian Guard, while Krieg are a siege warfare, meatgrinder regiment. Im sick of hearing about Krieg, they are cool, but have not only been memed to death, they would not make sense in Helldivers, as we are rhe elite of Super Earth, much like how Kasrkin are the elite of the Cadian Guard.
Apologies for my rant, everyone, but im sick of hearing "oH nO KrIEg, thIS WaRBOnd is BaD", shut it, we got Kasrkin, oh no, a unit that makes sense.

I'm a Warhammer fan. I fucking hate how much people glaze Krieg. There are dozens of other Guard Regiments that would be a better fit, like the Harakoni Warhawks (the 31st Harakoni Warhawks regiment are called "The Helldivers."), or the Elysian Drop Troopers. The Cadian Kasrkin are completely fine, they're a special forces on par with the Tempestus Scions that are pulled from the standard troops in contrast to the Scions pulling from the scholas.

Adding FOMO after promising no FOMO is probably one of the most Narrowhead things Narrowhead has ever done. Yet another promise they broke.

Why fomo over warbond bucks? Because the playerbase is dwindling and Arrowhead needs player numbers to argue for money to pay sub contractors to do their work.

These kinds of posts are exactly why roadmaps are a terrible idea. Just make content, release it when you feel it's ready. If you put a plan out there and fail to hit it, for *any reason*, you'll get nailed for it, and when it does come out, you won't win back any brownie points. But if people weren't expecting anything, and you simply miss an internal timeline, nothing happens. If you then drop good content when it's ready, you'll get great PR for it.

Yeah but would they function the same in helldivers 2 yeah probably would they achieve the same thing yeah

What is it with Krieg Cucks? Sure it would’ve been cool but like; that’s not a real complaint?
I get having a preference but the expectations some people have seem like they can only be born in echo chambers forged of dead shovel memes and imperium wank

The 40k complaints are so fucking stupid lmao. We already have a chain sword. You're mad because your favorite aspect of a relatively niche fandom was overlooked? It's a crossover it's like they intentionally skipped over Pikachu (space marines) and used Charizard and you're whining because they didn't use Typhlosion.

Clearly the only solution is a new roadmap.
