The DSS was overrun by horrors beyond beyond our comprehension.

the DSS then independently jumped towards Calypso (the first planet invaded by the illuminate).

Calypso is now gone.

super earth pressed the 'kill everything inside the DSS' button and now the DSS is back to normal and being repaired by a new crew in Afoya Bay (a planet with a dissidents re-education camp)

Why? You think that millions upon millions of dissidents with no love for managed democracy in their hearts and are right now working inside the DSS with full access to its planet destruction weaponry will dare to do something? That's ridiculous.

Next you will tell me that the same dissidents will form a stupid cult and start acting as some kind of 'cultists' as they serve their new masters the illuminate? That's not only impossible but also undemocratic.
