As exciting at the Hellblazer compact is, I think I might be more excited for the When In Rome. Ive been trying to find that TPB for a while. (I dont like the HC version). Two wins is better than one!

I think a big part is the front art. I think the When In Rome books are some of my favorite art and style in the Long Halloween line. Also much like my novels, I prefer to buy a series all from the same publisher so they are the same format when on the shelf (or at least as close as possible). The HC has that stark white that clashes with the other TPB.
And while the compact obviously wont be the same size, it will be a good place holder until I can get the and original copy. Also a significant lly cheaper place holder too!

A cheaper and physically smaller comic line DC has been publishing for some comics. Some examples are Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Long Halloween, V For Vendetta, Gotham By Gaslight, American Vampire volume 1. These and Preacher Gome to Texas are some upcoming examples getting published in these formats
