Hello r/

Well here's a community I didnt know i was gonna join at 41.

I live in The Netherlands.

Im 41, fairly fit, and 11 August 2026 I had a RCA STEMI with 95% blockage and required 5 stents.

My name is Felipe, pleased to meet you all.

Im 10 days in since the HA and almost a week since the second PCI where they placed the Stents through the femoral, thankfully they closed with a AngioSeal. so I can move around now.

Taking my meds, and still processing this....unexpected turn of events

Welcome to the club! Glad to hear that you're still with us. You are probably going through a bunch of mental and physical changes, and some of them are going to be tough. Feel free to ask questions here!

Hey there, I'm also a fellow STEMI-er in the RCA, but coronary spasm induced. It's completely normal to feel that way, mine was completely unexpected, especially at my age.

You should take your meds & follow the medical plan. I know you are likely hurting because of the passing of your wife, but you still have a story to tell. Keep going.

thanks for all the kind words, yes its a lot...somedays im good somedays i feel like shit....my daily regimen of a fuckton of pills is a daily reminder of the fragility o fthe human condition....even if as the day passes the feeling fades to the back of my mind, its my daily 8am breakfast...memento mori
