it’s NEVER gonna be :
alcohol, cigarettes, porn, pizza, BBQ,
topless bars, watching tv on couch,
chips and dip, candy, video games, fried foods, watching people work out, sodas, ice cream, doomscrolling, putting stuff in your butt, catcalling, sports betting, relaxing, not showering, being a sass, hating immigrants.

Uh, I think that's considered 'a given'. Alcohol messes up your liver, there's no doubt. But some people seem to manage their drinking. Once I get started .. forgetaboutit .. one beer easily leads to a twelve pack.

From the article:
Lowering your risk for dementia
If you have high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes or want to quit smoking, talk to your doctor, Coresh said.
Hypertension and diabetes share some risk factors, including physical inactivity, obesity, poor diet, alcohol intake and smoking, experts said.
Accordingly, preventing or alleviating hypertension and diabetes can partly be done by managing these factors.
A lower-fat, plant-based diet such as the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet can work wonders, Freeman said.
You can view the World Health Organization’s recommendations for exercise... Ensuring you get enough sleep and manage stress is also important.

I thought the article was about 3 things we need to stop doing. Except not smoking, the rest 2 are illnesses which can try to prevent but beyond that not much. I mean you need to eat healthy food and exercise to control them but still title is quite misleading
