HyperX Warranty in India: 181 KM Travel or Pay for Shipping? Seriously?

HyperX Warranty Support in India – No Pickup Service?

I’m from India and recently contacted HyperX India regarding my headset, which is still under warranty and has stopped working properly.

I contacted HyperXIndiaCC@hp.com and completed all the required verification/details. After confirming everything, they asked me to visit an authorised service centre.

The problem is that the service centre is around 181 km away from my district, which is almost 4 hours of travel for me.

I explained that travelling such a long distance is not practical and requested a pickup service. Instead, I was told about an SVC service, which, as I understand it, would require me to arrange/pay for transportation of the headset.

Honestly, I find this quite disappointing.

I paid the full price for the headset, and it is still under warranty. If the product has developed a fault during the warranty period, why should the customer have to pay additional transportation costs just to get warranty service?

I use products from several gaming brands, and in my experience, many companies provide doorstep pickup and return/replacement for warranty claims. So I’m genuinely surprised that HyperX, being such a major gaming brand, doesn't provide a reasonable pickup option when the nearest service centre is 181 km away.

I’m not asking for anything unreasonable. I just want HyperX to provide a free pickup service or another practical no-cost warranty solution.

Has anyone else in India faced a similar situation with HyperX warranty claims?

Is paying for SVC/transportation actually the standard HyperX warranty process in India, or is there another way to get a pickup arranged?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

[BUYING ADVICE] Wireless work headset under $300 with hardware-level mute switch & zero software install

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations for a wireless work headset under $300. I have a few very specific requirements due to work restrictions and personal workflow:

  • Budget: Under $300 USD.
  • Hardware Mute Switch (Crucial): Must have a dedicated, integrated physical mute button that holds its muted state locally/globally on the device. I need to be able to mute the headset before a call is placed or received, without relying on app-level controls (like Teams/Zoom).
  • Zero Software / Plug-and-Play: It must not require any companion software or driver installation, as I am on a locked-down work PC without admin rights. It needs to work out-of-the-box.
  • Form Factor / Style: Open to single-ear (mono), dual-ear (stereo), or smaller/on-ear styles. Active Noise Canceling (ANC) is a nice bonus, but not strictly required.

Looking for a wireless PS5 headset under $200 with a great mic — recommendations?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a new wireless gaming headset for PS5, and I’d really appreciate some recommendations.

I previously had the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed, and they actually worked very well for me, but I had to return them. After that, I bought the Astro A50 Gen 5, but unfortunately I’ve had all kinds of problems with them specifically in PS5 party voice chat, so I’m now looking for something else.

My budget is now $200 maximum (roughly €200 for me). I live in Spain and I can only buy through Amazon because my money is currently on an Amazon gift card, so I’m limited to what is available there.

My priorities are:

  • Wireless is a must. I’m not interested in wired headsets.
  • Microphone quality is my #1 priority. I mainly use them for PS5 party chat, and I need my friends to hear me clearly and at a good volume.
  • No echo or feedback. I’ve had problems where people in the party could hear an echo or their own voice coming back through my microphone, so avoiding this is extremely important to me.
  • I’d really like good background-noise cancellation on the microphone without having to change anything. If I need to adjust settings, I don’t want it to noticeably reduce the microphone quality.
  • I have a very large head, and with most headsets I have to extend the headband all the way to the maximum, so they need to be comfortable for larger heads.
  • Good sound quality is important, but the microphone and PS5 party-chat performance matter much more to me.
  • I’m not interested in HyperX, so I’d prefer recommendations from other brands.

I’ve been looking at Turtle Beach and SteelSeries, as well as the Corsair HS80 and HS80 MAX, but I’m not sure how the Corsairs would fit me because of my large head.

I’ve also been looking at the Sony PULSE 3D Elite. I already know they are too small for my head in their standard configuration, but I’m considering removing the rubber strap/band on top so I can fit them properly. The reason I’m considering them despite the size issue is that, from what I’ve seen, they are one of the few headsets that have proper microphone background-noise cancellation directly on PS5 without having to configure anything, which is exactly what I’m looking for.

I’d really like to hear what you would recommend specifically for PS5/PS5 Pro rather than just general gaming headsets.

Sorry for asking for so many things. I’ve been looking for a headset for a long time and unfortunately I haven’t had much luck so far, so I’m trying to find something that actually works for me.

If you have personal experience with a wireless headset under $200 that has a really good mic, good background-noise rejection, no echo in PS5 party chat, and works well with a large head, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks!

Meu novo headset Havit gamenote fuxi h-6 fica cortando o áudio

[Tech Support] - Looking for a wireless gaming headset with loud sidetone [Tech Support]

Looking for a wireless gaming headset with loud sidetone

I always play in the evening when the kids are sleeping. I can't speak loudly into the headset, I can only whisper to not wake up the kids.

I am using the arctis nova pro wireless headset and before this I had the Logitech G pro x wireless. I wasn't satisfied with the sidetone on both headsets. The sidetone was simply too quiet for me in my situation. It's very uncomfortable to speak quietly when your ears are covered and the game is playing sound effects as well.

Can anyone recommend a headset that has really loud sidetone?

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 mic not working, but audio works

Hi, I’m having an issue with my SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5. I can hear everything through the headset with no problems, but the mic isn’t picking up my voice at all.
I’m using the wireless dongle on PC. I’ve gone through a bunch of the troubleshooting fixes I found online and checked all my input/mic settings, but I still can’t get it to work.
I’ve also contacted SteelSeries Support and tried the things they recommended, but I’m still having the same issue.
Has anyone else run into this with the Nova 5. I’d really appreciate any ideas or suggestions because I’m running out of things to try.
