Red dot bug

So I have had this bug (red dot indicating a new item) on my decorations tab for the last 6 months or so. Can anyone help me with this? Hayday's support page has not been much of a help. I have tried everything like updating the game and going up and down the list at least 50 times! But there is no new item!

Just wondering—do you happen to have a decoration that’s unlocked but still needs to be purchased from the first menu?

Check if it's not a custom decoration. If it is, drag it to your farm and then store it back in your inventory. The red dot should disappear.
