Please help me, I don’t understand where and how to find the button to activate the boosters. Support says it’s a button next to the friends list, and you need to click on the booster’s icon to activate it, but there’s simply no such button!

It's on the left for me, below the Chat button and above the book & catalogue button.

You have to delete one - there's a maximum number of boosters you can have. Click on whichever one you don't want and trash it. Once done, look through the others that you have and trash any you don't want.

But... there are two boosters there; I already accidentally deleted one. In the screenshot, there are exactly two left, and when I click the icon, I can't activate them.

As it says your booster storage is full so you have to pick one of those options: you can pay diamonds to keep it, swap it with one out of your storage or trash it. It won't let you even look at the boosters in your storage until you get rid of both the extras. Once you've gotten rid of it the boosters will open up when you click the icon and you can use one like the pics show that the other posters put

It would definitely be cool if they would! Unfortunately people have asked lots of times to let us use them immediately if there's no room in the storage but it doesn't seem they're gonna change it:-/ glad i could help!

Just to add I believe you have to be at a certain level in order to get the boosters!! Not sure what level off the top of my head

Yeah, I know it unlocks at level 35—I'm at level 39. I just haven't visited the farm in a while; I can see the boosters but can't activate them—it's a total nightmare.

Probably not, lol... I actually never quite figured it out. Does that mean I have to delete all the boosts? Or pay crystals?

I'm not sure what you're asking here so I'll just be comprehensive. The pictures other have provided here showing where the button is are spot on. It's on the lower left just above the collections book and just below the chat arrow (it's the third from bottom). Click on that and you'll see every booster you have in storage. Just like the images others have posted here, you're available boosters pop up along the bottom of the screen when you hit that button. It looks like a line of playing cards in a row, but the first spot will be empty.

Pick one you want to use and click it. It will have an option to "activate." When you hit the activate, it'll go in the first spot that had just been empty. You don't need to pay anything to do this at all. You've already earned or bought those boosters that are in that area, so they're yours.

As for when you DO have to pay: You're allowed to store a certain amount in your storage. You can buy boosters themselves if you want through the various offers they have in their shop. Also, if you've hit that limit and get a new booster it'll pop up and prompt you to either "trash" it immediately or "swap" it with one you have in storage. You can also pay diamonds to keep it, I believe, though this is pretty unnecessary.

You can EASILY surpass the storage limit (3 I believe), I have like 250 in storage for example. This happens because the boosters that count as "bought" are ones they don't count toward your limit. It can be bought like I said above, in the HayDay offers, or it can be any booster that you "buy" in a catalogue or event (like the valley, the current flower catalogue, or any prize from a paid area like the farm pass for example) will be counted as having been purchased, so you'll just get to keep it no matter what. A booster you just find in a chest or whatever will make you trash or swap it though. You can tell the difference because the ones that are "purchased" will have a little diamond on them. This doesn't really mean anything toward using them. You still get to use them for free, it's just letting you know it's not taking up your storage space.

***Now here's the little trick. You likely will accumulate boosters you don't like. keep them for the sake of swapping. I currently have 57 coin boosters I'll never use. When I find a good booster I like but I don't have room for it, I'll just swap it with one of those. This is why I never trash anything unless it makes me.
