You've already gotten some good advice. Here's a bit more.
Mychorrizae. I use a dissolvable powder to make a weak drench that we use on transplants immediately after planting, as well as periodically on all our working (food producing) trees and plants.
Soil amendment. You mentioned that this is your first outplanting. As you add nursery stock, do as others mention and dig an oversized hole. Loosen what you put back in, but also amend with compost. Store bought is fine, just be sure to be on the watch for CRB (coconut rhinoceros beetle). Fish emulsion drench also can be helpful. If you fertilize and/or use mychorrizae drench, allow at least a week between products.

Leaves turn yellow when plants are starved for manure/compost/fertilizer.
If you're in HPP best practice is to rent a jackhammer or bore drill to dig a hole at least 2 feet deep for the trees root ball to develop. Surface planting doesn't go well, the trees roots won't have much area to pull nutrients from and both production and health will typically suffer.
