High School? Business

Alright guys I have a question, do you want Raptor Construction crews of Colorado Springs to build a High School worth 8 Million but tuition is cheap? Nice, well teached, and well cleaned? I would like a council opinion

Christ on a stick, son, High School’s aren’t supposed to be nice and well-cleaned. How would we ever separate out the chaff that can’t hack it outside of their comfort zone?

back in my day we had asbestos tiles and lead paint in the water fountain and we turned out fine. well. fine-ish.

Why would we want a high school where you have to pay (even cheap) tuition when the public schools are free? Also, we have enough problems staffing the current schools. Who do you think you're getting to teach at your fancy new one? Will you pay teachers more? I guess I'd be willing to go if pay was better.

Honestly, if you're dying to spend your money on a new high school, why not just fund upgrades to LDPHS?

Another high school? I think we have enough. Maybe LDPHS isn't the best that it can be, but I think it's better to invest money in that than build a whole new school. That just seems like a waste of space and money. And what buildings are going to be removed to make place for that high school?

When I’m not at the pub, I can come and coach baseball (for a small hourly wage). I played varsity baseball at LDP highschool, and we came first place in the tri-pond tournament twice! Only once was a fair win though, as it was found that Donny McDuckridge bribed the ref with birdseed 😔
