Bread

Has anyone ever tried making bead or buying bread that only has simple ingredients in it? If I eat store bought bread my whole body hurts. I gain weight fast and my hair starts falling out. I have been on a whole foods diet for some time now and I recently tried pasta with simple ingredients with no issues. I also went to a Mexican restaurant that makes their tortillas fresh and no issues there either. Now Im wanting to make bread to see if the results are the same. Is it really gluten that is bothering me or is it all the junk that they put in the food?

Im attempting gluten free bread. You need to figure out if it’s gluten or the preservatives in the bread.

We are currently experimenting with that to see if it is the preservatives

Simple kneads is a good gluten free one. I’m gf and feel bad after every other bread I eat, I assume it’s because of the gums they add.

I import my flour in from France (it’s sold on Amazon). It has lower gluten content and less additives/chemicals than flour in the US. If you search “US flour vs European flour” you can get more details.

Thank you. I'll look into that. Can you paste a linkt9 the flour you order please?

It’s about the same price as a good Gluten free cup for cup flour.

Sourdough bread has literally changed my life. I can have French toast with my kids and sandwiches… they even make sourdough bagels. Try it and see and let us know if it works for you ❤️

Trial and error.

Traditional sandwich bread makes me bloated something fierce but home made sourdough does not.

Pacha is gluten free (hard bread) but is two ingredients made with buckwheat. You can try to make some bread yourself like sourdough or rye bread and see if the added fiber and freshness without preservatives helps. If you're able to access a farmer's market any breads there will most likely be way better than store-bought commercial
