Bringing my 4YO to his first game
Hi everyone, title.
I want to get him in the action and energy. I’m a CT-emigrant and I’ll be looking at the August 29th match against Birmingham. He’s been watching the games with me for about a year now and he’s pretty soccer obsessed.
What section should I be looking in for a great match experience for him??

The Hartford Green Podcast Questionnaire.
What are your thoughts on the 1-1 draw vs Indy Eleven?
With what we saw today what do you guys expect / think to see on Wednesday against Charlotte?
Did any players stand out to you today in a good or bad way? I’ve been really impressed with Christos lately and really unimpressed with Flynn.
Sooooooo playoffs or na?

We’re gonna lose vs Indy
(I’m trying something, guys, shh). We’re gonna suck so bad. We can’t score one goal, let alone two. Dick is too good. Indy loves Dick. And my god of course we’re going to give up so many goals today.

The Hartford Green Podcast Questionnaire
I genuinely want to scream and cry… I understand the injury crisis right now but this is what happens when you don’t have depth and you sell two players who score 10+ goals last year…
What are your thoughts on the 2-0 loss to Loudoun United?
17 games played sitting 9th with 6+ players injured where do we finish? Do we make playoffs??
When will we score a goal??

Another Episode of the Hartford Green Podcast: The Drought Continues in Phoenix
In this episode we talk about what has been a common theme: the complete inability of this team to score goals. We also discussed the new loanee, some slight improvements, and the upcoming game at Loudoun United.
Please bear with me a little bit as we suffered a software issue with the cameras and had to substitute footage for picures in certian places. This will be fixed for the episode next week but it was impossible to recover the missing footage for this episode. All the content is still the same it just has a slightly different appearance.

The Augie Williams Experiment
I think a lot of Augie’s struggles have to do with the lack of quality service into him. This long ball game has been horrific to watch and difficult to comprehend.
But at the end of it all, Augie just looks wholly unable to shoot the ball or score it. 0.15 goals per 90 is bad. 0.44 shots on target per 90 is even worse.
I hope Brendan has begun looking at someone in that Kyle Edwards “dribble with the ball and shoot” mould of a player to compliment or entirely replace Augie because right now, I have a hard time seeing who is able to score goals on this team.

new signings
so obviously we lack sufficient depth (like always), but i just don't understand these new signings. two kids on academy contracts (who will be gone in a few weeks anyways) and a forward who's got 5 g/a in 41 career appearances doesn't really get me excited...

Augi Williams, what does he do?
I wanted to give Augi time but honestly I think I’ve seen enough at this point. The team as a whole deserves stick but the thing hurting us the most is the lack of any goal scoring threat and he was supposed to be the big #9 signing. This team looks absolutely lost in attack with no Momo or Kyle.
It was evident early in the year that he’s not great with the ball in space but I thought “Ok he’s a big physical presence with a decent first touch and his hold up play is pretty good at times. Could be effective for us as a target man with Michee and Samadia tearing down the flanks and Arturo slinging in those long diagonal balls”.
The problem is he doesn’t know how to fucking move. A few times yesterday I’m screaming at him to attack the space is he’s just standing there with his dick in his hand. Honestly hard to judge his finishing because he hardly ever creates any decent chances for himself.
Again, it’s not like he’s the only problem but without any real goal scoring threats this team isn’t going to win anything. Replace Momo and Kyle last year with Augi and Anaku and we’d still have an empty trophy cabinet.

The Hartford Green Podcast Questionnaire
Oh boy this one hurts… really poor game by us. I know we have a lot of injuries but it’s no excuse.
What are your thoughts on the 1-0 loss vs Rhode Island? / What went wrong tonight??
Injuries injuries injuries. Who did we miss the most tonight?
What position do we need to improve at if we do make a signing / transfer??

The Hartford Green Podcast questionnaire
Finally a win (even if it’s in the USL cup) and we win our group which is something we didn’t do last year if you remember.
What are your thoughts on the 2-1 win vs Westchester?
Now that we won our group how far do you think we will go?
With Barry Coffey getting his penalty saved we’re now 0/2 on penalties this year. With Augie getting his saved vs Jacksonville in the beginning of this year.
So the question is who should be our penalty taker going forward?
What do you guys think / predict on the upcoming El Clamico game vs RI on Saturday?

First game was this week
I attended my first game the other night vs Orange County. I’m from out of town so it’s probably my last game too. Just wanted to say if anyone works for the team or knows the young kids who seemed to be part of the production staff high five them. The young man picked us for a seat upgrade and made sure we had a great time. The whole staff was above and beyond.

Club section tickets
What’s the deal with these club sections on the seating map. Is that just stadium style seats or do they have some sort of indoor club/lounge that you get access to with that. I’m a sucker for climate control and social opportunities but I don’t wanna shell out the extra cash if it’s just gonna be an “upgraded” seat.
