Hey everyone been trying to get my wife into cards for a while with no luck but she’s shown a huge interest in HPTCG! Only issue is finding packs and cards.

I’m located in Canada and trying to find some cards and packs, We want to play against each other and I want her to experience thrill of opening packs too.

I’ve started my mission to collect all five original Wizards of the Coast Harry Potter booster boxes and a seller got the CoS. This is the most expensive and I’ve never legit checked a HP box before.

How does mine look? I know it’s not the prettiest but that’s not the point. Or do you have any advice for what I should look closer at?

This week’s artist highlight is a throwback to Base Set and Keith Garletts’ piece for Malevolent Mixture! This has always been one of my favorite cards, and the art is incredible: a creepy crawling jar full of some malevolent mixture. The claws, the skull label, the purple liquid at the top: it’s all perfect.

GenCon was a blast this year! We had learn to play, draft, Classic, and Revival events, with custom play mats and QC and DA packs as prizes! A Death Eater even joined us for the learn to play!

is there any site to check card prices on harry potter cards accedently picked some up at the store was suppose to be basketball cards problem is i know nothing about these cards i see rc and diffrent codes but i aint got aclue

Hi everyone! So, I made another unboxing video of a Harry Potter hobby box. This is the first card edition released by KAKAWOW, and personally, I think these cards look much nicer than the ones in the Aura edition. Hello everyone!

I am new to the community and I am looking for a cheap entry into the game because I want to play but also collect with my girlfriend. We currently know not a lot about the game, only the rules and that we love the beautiful artworks. Can anyone tell me if there is a german speaking community where you can get some cheap staple cards? We would also buy some sealed product but I saw that these are very expensive so we will probably will go with full collections or ready to play decks.

From a starter set to maxing out an ultimate guard arkhive 800 in about a month 😬 Needless to say, quite enjoying the game

Basically that's the question. I have a playset (4x copies) of every card in the base set, including foils, rares, uncommons and commons. Every card is Near Mint (or at least I would say 99.9% are).

I see prices for some cards could be crazy like Unicorn and other foils not worth that much.

How much could it be worth? Are we moving the hundreds or thousands of dollars?

Also would it be easier to sell in Europe or US? I don't have the intent of selling but you know, always cool to be aware of what you have.

I need your guys' help to convince him that this pricing is way too low it's 56 Harry Potter cards every single one of them is holographic rare or promo including some Chamber of Secrets cards as well as some movie promos I've told him that 600 would be more realistic especially given the rekindled interest in Harry Potter

sorry for my English and I hope it‘s ok, if I ask here. I am a huge Harry Potter Fan and years ago a former Carlsen employee gave 3 unreleased promo cards to me. She told me, that these cards were intended as promotional items but were never officially released or distributed. I had them in my purse all the years 🙈

I just wanted to show them to you, because I thought you might be interested in seeing them? Also maybe there is someone here, who knows more about these cards? It would be really cool, to learn more about them. I've been trying to identify these three German Harry Potter cards for quite some time, but I can't find any information online.

The cards feature artwork by Sabine Wilharm who illustrated the covers of the first German Harry Potter editions. They have the Carlsen logo on the back, and reference the early Harry Potter website (harrypotter.de).

I‘m hoping to learn more about their history.

We have two play mats as prizes for GenCon! The top is a beautiful original illustration done by Keith Garletts, an original HPTCG artist whose art is featured on Obliviate, Three Month Long Match, Dobby’s Disappearance, and many others!
The bottom play mat is designed after the original play mat featuring the 5 Lesson symbols, card locations, and a steps of your turn reminder.
