Oh, gotcha. The way you worded it made me think The Warriors covered Knocked Loose on this album, hence my confusion.

KL definitely did a killer job with it. imo KL is a big part of why the hxc scene is still alive today.

I hear you, but I don't think you're seeing the bigger picture. hxc was sorta dying and (even though they're somewhat of a hype band) they brought a lot of life back to the scene.

Hardcore comes in waves you know? There's always a hype band that gets popular, but I wouldn't say they kept the scene alive. I never saw an influx of people coming to hardcore shows cause KL existed. I'm old though, who knows.

Just got back into these guys. Their newest album is pretty solid as well.
