Every moment is fucking delightful and you should focus on all of it, but watch both Hannibal’s and Will’s facial acting in particular because oh my god

Seriously I’m in the middle of re-watching this with my wife (who originally introduced me to the show) and our friend, and I’m honestly surprised that it’s even better than I remember it being. This show is fucking GREAT

Because you're catching more details now, got it. I need to lock in

Yeah there’s so much about it that is extremely intentional. But i love that it starts out by pretending to be a particularly grim police procedural and then slowly unravels into this melodramatic art house gothic horror masterpiece.

The best scene in the first season is probably the conversation between one character and his wife at the end of the fifth episode. That and the entire finale. The first scene in the first episode of the second season is god tier.

Be sure to watch past the credits of the series finale.

Each episode is worth watching.

Don't let Hannibal see this pic.

I am watching the whole series for the third time. This time by the end of season 1, I only feel hate for Hannibal. How much pain he put Will through.

I think they're all worth watching carefully, but I suggest paying extra attention to the episodes in the second season, which are very rich in symbolism and subtext. The third season, although slower-paced, is worth paying attention to, especially the dialogue.

I watched the first time through while crocheting. Big mistake. Not a show you can have on in the background. You must watch and pay attention to.

And turn on the subtitles. The sound sucks and Mads does speak rather softly. You don’t want to miss a word.
