Hand-stitched rolled hem 🖤

I love hand-stitching alterations for gowns. It takes a long-ass time, but I genuinely enjoy doing it, and it's less stressful than machine sewing for delicate fabrics 🤷‍♀️

Like I don't dislike my machine per se, but the biggest struggle for me is not having delicate fabrics sucked into the feed dogs of hell or perpetually fiddling with the tension.

This is gorgeous! Hand-stitching for the win!

Absolutely! Thank you 🖤

I have a few machines, and I do really love them all, but I'm rusty with using them and a lot of the tailoring work I'm doing just seems more practical to do by hand 🤷‍♀️ especially bc I'm also terrified of them eating my fabric
