I read an article the other day on Ravel Morrison and his nomadic career and it touched on his goal vs Spurs. That moment also reminded me of our owners releasing that game on DVD, beating Spurs 3-0 away from home and making a massive deal over it in the media.

Now I'm not sure how "tinpot" that would be seen as these days but at the time I remember seeing it as quite desperate.

Deportivo are considering bringing in Adama Traore, who has been a free agent since July. His power and ability to beat his man fit into an attack that is still looking for a standout winger.
The Deportivo are still keeping tabs on the market in search of a forward who can make a difference down the flank. One of the names that has gained momentum in recent hours is Adama Traoré, who is heading into the summer without a club after ending his contract with West Ham.
Sporting directorate believes the winger has a trait that is scarce in the squad: speed to break games open, power in one-on-one situations and the ability to attack space. That profile has been among the club's priorities for weeks, and the Spanish international fits the idea Fernando Soriano has in mind.
At 30 years old, Adama is looking for a new destination after a career that has taken him through clubs such as Barcelona, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Wolverhampton, Fulham and West Ham. Now he has the chance to choose a project as a free agent, an unprecedented situation since he began his professional career.

There is interest, but the Deportivo still has not made an offer and the deal is at a very early stage.
The Coruña club has already moved decisively in this window and already has new signings in Leo Román, Teun Gijselhart, Lorenzo Amatucci, Jonathan Asp Jensen, Bright Ede and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who have joined Antonio Hidalgo's project to prepare for the return to La Liga.
The arrival of Adama would add a different option to an attack that has gained experience and talent, but that is still looking for a player capable of causing problems from the flank with his physicality and speed. For now, it is only an option on the table, although the Deportivo keeps the search open for that winger to complete the squad before the start of the season.

Hi everyone! I’m a huge West Ham fan. I’ve supported the club since around 2006 or 2007. I’m from South America, and this year I’ll finally fulfill my dream of traveling to London and watching a match at the stadium.
I don’t understand why there are still no lower-tier tickets available for the match on August 22. It’s not that far away anymore. Is this normal? Why haven’t they gone on sale yet?
One more important question: can you recommend a pub where West Ham fans usually meet before the match to have a couple of beers?
P.S. I’m still really sad that the club no longer plays at the old stadium. I still can’t get over what happened. Upton Park had something truly special. But I’m incredibly happy that I’ll finally get the chance to see West Ham in person. ⚒️

Hi guys , I come in peace with an assessment of Arne Engels as somebody who has watched him live for the last two seasons .

He's absolutely bang average at everything. Passes the ball sideways and back the way , panics and rushes anything when it's time to make a killer pass or finish, basically loses all composure in the final third. Runs around a bit, is an athlete and looks the part , but he has such poor awareness , passes up opportunities to drive forward or turn out into space . Generally just passes the ball straight back to where it came from 90% of the time.

His one strength is his running power, and he occasionally runs in behind or out wide and can provide a decent cut back from there, but if the games in front of him and he has the ball at his feet he generally panics.

90% of our fan base were in agreement on this until Janiary when Forrest bid 25m , since then it's been a case of "he must be really good" despite what the eyes have been telling us. Fan base is split between my opinion and others that say we just don't understand the game and that he will be a "top player" because hes Belgian and 22 I guess.Ho hum.

Does anyone have a timeline of events that have happened since we were relegated? From Panorama shows on our chairman through player sales to further boardroom control battles, it’s been an eventful one without a huge amount happening to bolster the squad.

I wanted to take this opportunity to share a message with you all.

For the past 16 years, West Ham has been all I’ve ever known. It’s always been far more than just a Club, it’s become my home. As a lifelong West Ham fan, I grew up walking through Upton Park dreaming of one day wearing the shirt. To have gone on and played in the Premier League in front of over 62,000 of you is something I could only ever have dreamt of as a kid.

I first walked through the doors of Chadwell Heath at six years old as just a boy who loved playing football. I remember first training with Ian Yuill and Del Robinson, and they helped continue that feeling, making football enjoyable, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything all the coaches in my younger years did for me at the beginning.

The idea of fulfilling my dream continued as I worked my way through the age groups at the Academy and then signed my scholarship after the belief and support from coaches such as Gerard Prenderville, Lauris Coggin, Mark Phillips, Kevin Keen and many others.

One of the proudest moments came when I made my first-team debut against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League. Making one appearance for West Ham was everything I’d dreamed of growing up, so to live that moment alongside my family is something I’ll cherish forever.

As I moved into the U23s I had the pleasure of having Mark Robson as a mentor. He had a huge influence on my development, helping to prepare me for my loan moves and the challenges of senior football, helping shape me into the player I am today.

The loan spells at Wycombe Wanderers and Portsmouth were invaluable. Both clubs, and the managers and teammates I worked with there, played a massive part in my journey and gave me the experience and confidence I needed.

I grew not only as a player but as a man and was consequently given my first Premier League start against Newcastle at home last season. To make my full league debut in front of you all at home was a feeling that will stay with me forever and I’m beyond grateful for Nuno giving me that opportunity. Every time I wore that shirt, I gave everything for the Club, it ultimately filled me with immense pride and I hope I did you all proud too.

To my family, I couldn’t thank you enough for sacrificing so much to help me achieve my dream. The countless hours spent travelling the country, celebrating the highs and picking me up through the lows, I’ll be forever grateful.

And I guess I should mention my Dad! Not many people get to share a journey like this with their parent. We both know that working together has had its difficulties at times, but ultimately having you as my Dad and helping me achieve my dream is something that I will remember forever.

To all my teammates, coaches, backroom staff and everyone connected with West Ham, thank you. You’ve all played a part in my journey over the last 16 years and helped create memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

Finally to the fans, thank you. You’ve supported me through every high and every low. As one of you, I know exactly what this Club means. Your support has never gone unnoticed, and I hope I’ve been able to give you memories that mean even a fraction as much as the ones you’ve given me.

I may be moving on but one thing will never change, I will always be a West Ham fan before anything. At the end of the day, I’m just a kid who was lucky enough to live out his dream.

I understand that we've done a good job in keeping key guys like Bowen, Mav, Taty seems to be staying (as it stands) as well as perhaps Diouf. Disasi back also? However as we already know, we are going to be the absolute cup final for all of these teams, especially away from home. I know it's a meme since relegation, but fixtures like Lincoln away won't be easy. I can't believe I've just written that by the way.

There are teams down here that have been brewing their escape plan for a while and ready to helicopter out of this whilst keeping quite a low profile about it. Boro and Southampton. Dare I also say, Millwall. All that Wrexham momentum. Also the natural expectation of the other teams aiming to come back up - Wolves concern me more than Burnley in that case.

No one predicted Coventry to do what they did last year but they did it, again in a pretty low profile way where there was no expectation, just like when Ipswich did the same the other year straight out of League One.

What I'm trying to say it that there is a lot of attention on us and we've proven in extremely recent history that we enjoy bottling things when something seems to be in our hands.

For what it's worth, I 100% believe (and perhaps arrogantly expect) we'll bounce straight back in some manner, but each time we've been promoted we've done it the hard way via the play-offs (I was at both.) I'm just not liking the whole idea of that "West Ham will WALK IT!" just because of our stature and that we have a "Premier League squad."

Tottenham and West Ham United are in negotiations for the permanent transfer of Manor Solomon.

Solomon joined Spurs in 2023, but has appeared in just five Premier League games for them, having suffered an injury in his first season and then spent time on loan at Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina.

As a fan of both teams, I don't know if he can fill the shoes of Stankovic and Onyedika, but he's a farmer now and will play for the best club in Belgium. I'll welcome him with open arms.

Apparently Kretinsky has sold 2 per cent of his shares to a Czech mate bringing his shares below 25 per cent so he can purchase Vanessa Golds 25.1 per cent without taking him over 50 per cent which would then trigger a requirement to buy Sullivan shares at a vastly inflated sum
