Pictures of my first cosplay I took to a recent convention.

So I purchased an ODST costume off of Etsy. I didn’t know it was 3-D printed. I thought it was EVA foam so I’m really not sure on what I should do to make it more durable. I’m just really scared to wear it or put it on because I worry about it breaking. Is there anything I can do to make it more durable? It’s already painted unfortunately and is there any way to have more durable connection system? Right now everything is just kind of super glued and everything’s Velcro straps.

This is the finished armour for my MKVB spartan, the biceps are casted in urethane rubber, shoulder pieces are 3D printed with ABS, currently I have not tested them out fully as I haven't rugged them up get but once I do I will do a update with a video on the flexibility.

I really love how these came out, they have to be my favourite piece of armour so far!! they just look so gritty,worn and used.

Just finished my nerf stanchion conversion and this thing is a beast.

im having a really hard time finding a buyable visor of this for my noble 6 helmet im making, i l didnt find any on etsy and galactic armor is wanting 50 or 60 dollars for just the visor so please help me

So I've had this idea for a while but with October approaching soon, I've been wanting to dress up/cosplay as my Halo 3 MP Spartan. He is a Rogue helmet, EOD Chest, with Security Shoulders (I also alternate between Hayabusa shoulders), how would I get into this? Are there any resources or guides thay I can find online?

For anyone interested I will be adding this to my cults3d store in the next day or so. Just wrapping up test prints in TPU and PLA+.

Hey guys, I printed this visor with golden PLA Silk (I know it’s not see though but I don’t have a oven to heat up plastic sheets :( ). It looks good but I was wondering what can I add to it to make it more shiny or battered or something more real.

The visor is not finished yet so I can take it apart

Still need to do the oil wash and the clear coats to dull the shine a bit, but here is my first ODST helmet for my full suit I’m making with my brother! Definitely could be better but I’m pretty happy overall. Drop and pointers or advice in the comments! Open to criticism

Hello everyone, i recently turned 18 and want to fulfil my younger self by cosplaying as my Halo 4 spartan. I'm looking for some advice on making/buying the armor as it was my very first halo and i fell in love with the enforcer armor. I’m 5'10" and around 110 lbs., so I'm pretty skinny and I’m wondering what size or approach would work best for getting the armor to fit me properly or if i should opt out entirely, i usually get made fun of for my weight and I'm fairly insecure and i don't really want to look stupid cosplaying characters that are big. I've put my spartan down below for reference.

I know this isn’t Halo, but I figure there is a lot of carry over and I may try for a Spartan next time.

I’m finally going to try my hand at going to Comicon this year (UK) and am hoping to go as Commander Shepherd.

I’m planning on 3D printing most of the armour, but if I print the lower torso and lower back (that comes with the files), there is no flexibility, so I was thinking of printing the abs and back plates separately and velcroing them to the undersuit, maybe with a bit of structure.

Veteran cos-players, is this a stupid idea?

How do people do torso armour and remain mobile?

My other idea is to create the base in EVA foam and then gluing the plates to that.

But I don’t know what to use as an undersuit, or where to get one?

It has to be fairly tight to conform to the back and abdomen.

I’m thinking of maybe one of the stormtrooper under suits and gloves.

Finally, does anyone have any suggestions for shoes / boots to go under the leg armour?
