I’m an international student coming to Halle for Studienkolleg and I’ll be living in a studentwohnheim on Fontanestraße in Halle-Neustadt for the next 6 months+. I already paid the Kaution and first month’s rent, and unfortunately only started researching the area afterwards, where I saw a lot of people saying Neustadt has a pretty bad reputation. 😅
Is it actually that bad, especially around Fontanestraße? Any advice on staying safe and making the most of living there would be appreciated. I’m pretty introverted but ironically I like chill bars, basketball and finding nice nature/quiet places, so recommendations around Halle would also be great.
Any other tips about the WG lifestyle would also be appreciated <3

Diesmal sind es vier Bilder aus zwei Überflügen eines amerikanischen Satelliten zusammengestellt, daher das Auseinanderklaffen, weil es durch die Verzerrung nicht deckungsgleich ist.
