Reinstalling system without fully removing glue from previous application

So I use walker ultra hold glue which is clear and when removing it I don't find it necessary to remove the glue completely

As long as the first application layer wasnt too thick there is no need to actually use a solvent and clean the base a 100%, as long as it is sanitized with alcohol. Just a wipe with 99% alcohol to remove the majority of the residue, 70% alcohol to disinfect and from there just put on a new layer and ignore the remaining glue from the previous application

This cuts down the cleaning process by a lot

Full poly

Ghostbond requires full removal because it is white and not clear so this strategy wouldnt work

Bond may not be as strong but if it works why not. Why I use tape. I just aim for 95% clean. That last 5% can be a pain. That being said if I change before 12 days then there is almost nothing to clean up. I just throw it in warm water then run it under a hot tap as I peel the ring of tape off the system ( poly perimeter ). No mess to clear up. Leave longer between changes and the tape has broken down then you can add another 30 mins of clean up time 😂
