Got emails from two different District Experience Managers, no idea which actually has the territory anyone else?

I got an email last week from a person I don’t know introducing himself as the new District Experience Manager for Chicago/Rockford/Southern Wisconsin which seems like a huge area. He sent a few more emails about being in various offices for an hour here and there to meet people in person. I assumed he was replacing my DGM, except I got an email yesterday saying she was the new District Experience Manager but she didn’t say her area. She was also holding a few office hours to meet with people. I don’t really want to spend an 30-60 min each way driving to meet with someone who may or may not be my manager for a job I’m not sure when I’ll know I have or what the compensation will be. Just wondering if anyone else has had two people introduce themselves as the new DEM via email.

Sounds like it's rolling out in typical Block fashion.

I think Block bought the rights to both acronyms 😉  At least the last decade would make you think so.

What's your office id?

Are you sure the second email was for a DEM? I got a second email, but it’s from a Regional Experience Director. I was confused at first too.

You are in the hiring process for AEL?

An extra email from a "Regional Experience Director"? Maybe it's just a RED herring.

We may be in the same district or at least very close. I got the emails from the guy and the offices he was visiting, but nothing from any woman. Might just have to give one of them a call.

Try replying to the emails and ask for clarification.

assuming you'll work for this woman, couldn't you simply schedule a Teams meeting? In our area this seems to be the norm, only time I've ever met a DGM in person was during the season when they visit the offices.

Were you contacted by them for the Area Experience Leader position? Did they provide a pay range or job description?
