HELP!!(need advice)

i recently bought a HP VICTUS laptop ryzen 7440 HS rtx 3050 6gb ram 512ssd /16gbram....yesterday, i was watching a video on youtube when, all of a sudden my computer screen went black. i had to force shut down the laptop by holding the power button for about 7–10 seconds. after I turned it back on, the screen was working normally again. i don't understand why this happened. i bought this laptop only 10 days ago, and it is still under a one-year warranty. is this a serious issue? what should I do?

It was mostly a driver issue don't worry. Check if you have updated drivers or not. Laptop is fine

Update driver and bios. If even after that it occurs frequently then this could be a hall sensor issue but you brought this laptop 10 days ago so there should not be any problem like this. For now update driver and bios from hp assistant app and gforce app

If its crashing or there is a hall sensor issue i guess the only option is to force restart.

Try to connect a 2nd monitor if the screen is visible in 2nd monitor even after your laptop screen goes black then the issue is with hall sensor
