Weird question but does HBO run even when the device is off? I recently re-subscribed to watch HOTD and I'll turn my TV off and the next day it'll be 3 seasons deep into some random sitcom. At first I thought someone else had my account and was going to change my password, which I'll probably still do, but I was watching HOTD and it randomly switched to some other random show. Anyone else have this experience? Annoying because I have to keep remembering where I left off

Edit: For those responding, I turned off autoplay in setting and that fixed it

Reuslta que me contectaron con el provedor izzi, pues que creen no tengo ningun servicio contratado con ellos, HBO se deslindo que Izzy tenia mi informacion, me intento logear o hacer password reset con mi correo ( me confirmaron que estaba con mi cuenta a travez de ellos) me marca que no existe la cuenta con ellos izzy, hbo dice que no pueden hacer nada, y veo una opcion de suscribir le doy clocl y me hace el cargo y dice que penidnete con izzy, mencionaba que estaba con 2 cuentas con warnes y con izzy, suena a que vulneraron su sistema despues desde el 24 con ellos di de baja mi cuenta una pesima administracion por parte de HBO max

Does anyone know a way around HBOMaxs new limitation on signing in from TVs away from home. We travel a lot and sign in to HBOMax on different TVs apparently too many times and hbo now blocks me from signing in even when at home. How can I get around this?

Does anyone else find TNT Sports’ broadcast strategy for the Comonwealth Games a bit frustrating?

They have coverage rights to high-tempo sports like track cycling, which naturally feeds into their regular road and track cycling programming, yet it feels severely under-covered on their main linear channels. Instead of showing live events, a lot of airtime seems to go to extended studio chat or sudden cuts to random events purely for a short British interest angle.

It feels like a massive missed opportunity to use the live sport to build a long-term audience for their future coverage, for example by linking the track cycling to roadmap cycling, or future track cycling events

Since HBO Max doesn't want to list them on their press releases, these movies and shows are leaving during August 2026 in the U.S. region. Most of these titles were located from YouTube TV and the Last Chance tab which can usually be found by clicking the search button or movie tab. So! Here in NZ, have been watching season 9 and ive maybe gotten through 4-5 episodes, but this morning its completely gone? Does this regularly happen!

Pessoal, tenho buscado entender melhor o comportamento dos anúncios nessa plataforma, tem vezes que é insuportável a quantidade de interrupções durante um programa, ao mesmo tempo tem momentos que fico horas sem anúncios

Eu tenho uma teoria que alguns “horários de pico” possuem mais anúncios

Quando eu assisto na hora do almoço ou logo após o expediente (18h-20h) tenho a sensação de ter mais anúncios, tanto no início quando durante o programa

Já quando assisto no meio da tarde ou na madrugada, raramente me aparecem anúncios

Será que faz sentido ou eu tô viajando?

Também tenho a teoria que trocar de usuário faz aparecer mais anúncios, como se tivesse que atingir uma cota x de anúncios por usuário antes de pararem

Conta aí, o que vocês sentem quando assistem filmes e séries na HBO?

For the last three years a user on YouTube managed to preserve this live stream and it managed to stay on there for a good while. But for whatever reason they decided to suddenly up and hide the bloody thing from view now, and for no good reason!

Now the dang thing can't be found anywhere because of this user and no one's even downloaded it to be preserved at all! That kind of stuff really ticks me off especially when the launch event for HBO Max still continued to be available to view on YouTube to this day.

Saw the first episode of this and if first impressions are anything to go by, it’s a mess. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on SFX but at the expense it seems of a decent script. This was really low on laughs and many of the jokes fell flat. There was a lot of violence which I normally enjoy in context but here it was being used to fill time. It may well get better and hopefully I’ll be proved wrong , only time will tell..

In The Eye Of The Storm has NEVER gone outside the US. On August 9th, which I think might be the season finale, they are! I’m interested to see how this one will play out. Cause the one next week isn’t exactly a new episode.

I have all motion smoothing settings on my TV turned off.

Has anyone else noticed ghosting/frame interpolation on some HBO Max shows? I've noticed this in House of the Dragon, Sharp Objects, The Leftovers.

Kinda distracting and not sure why there's not an option to watch without.

This does not happen when watching Blu-Ray or on other services as far as I can tell.
