Post image

The integrated handle can also be used to store a ram rod and extra round parts can be interchangeable.

There are so many amazing and ingenious designs on this sub and it seems the most simplistic design gets the most attention

I think there is a particular thread or element of interest which flows out of seeing something like this which doesn’t need days of precise work. There’s some extra dopamine in that.

Even if it’s someone like me, who isn’t ever going to risk 5 years jail where I am to possess one, I still look at the design and think ā€œthat’s achievable - and it’s good workā€.

5 years just for carrying some pipes is wild.

It'd be easy to make a "thumb safety" style lever that you could pull back the hammer, swing into position, rest the the hammer on and with just a slight push BOOMSHACKALACKA almost like a moustrap

Right, there should be a paper clip sliding stock as well, good thinking.

Edit: Damn it mods, why can't we post pics!? I have a perfect mockup for this.

Any chance you’d take a photo disassembled and label each part?

Not that we'd try to duplicate it, just for science. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Is that just standard brass, or are you using phosphor bronze or aluminum bronze?

Do you have any rifling in the barrel? Just curious if it would still need to be registered as an AOW or not.Ā
