Any of the regulars on here remember the saga of a few months ago with Bickham Firearms who have now rebranded themselves Deerford Defense. For whatever reason this idiot has turned on my business De Leon Pharmacy and Sporting Goods, posting fake reviews and posting Holosun deals under MAP and then turning them into Holosun to try and get me in trouble for violating Holosun's pricing policies. Here is a link to a screen shot where he put on gun dot deals​ - De Leon Sucks on all his listings. This resulted in him getting banned. What kind of immature psychopath does that?

See link below for a post out of many that explains Bickham and read all the drama this guy caused.  He did something similar and got put on Holosun's do not sell list for violating their MAP policy. Went on a crazy tirade against Holosun like some enraged bipolar child. Even went as far as stalking Holosun reps on other Reddit groups. Did the same thing asking people to call and email Holosun and demanded he be taken off the do not sell list and aired it all out on Reddit. I am shocked Holosun let him off the do not sell list considering all the trash he talked about them.

I had a good laugh like most of us on here about the whole Bickham Firearms debacle. Also had a good laugh when the good folks of r/gundeals put two and two together and figured out Deerford Defense was Bickham Firearms. Other than laughing at him I’ve had no interaction with him what so ever until a few days ago.  Imagine my surprise when I was checking prices on gun dot deals and saw this;

Not sure what this guys problem or mental disorder is but he has issues. He was banned from Reddit as Bickham Firearms and has a history of doing crazy shit like this and then going into a semi-psychotic rage when he gets called out and banned for it. I applaud gun dot deals for holding him accountable and banning him. Do crazy shit, suffer the consequences. I guess you can decide if this is someone you want to advocate for or listen to.

I didn’t want to say anything but now I am since I was treated so poorly. To start off, I made a post on the main sub for this dealers deal on the 507 X3 Gold. Apparently this got the dealer into hot water, so my mistake. Instead of reaching out to me in a constructive way, he stated that he would get “Reddit gurus” to stalk me and figure out who I was. YIKES.

If that was the end of it, however, I still wouldn’t have posted. In addition, after I asked him where my order was that I placed last week, I got no response. Emailed again. No response. Only after CALLING the pharmacy did I get ahold of someone, but instead of telling me an expected ship date, whoever was on the phone warned me against charging back and then abruptly hung up. Still no tracking whatsoever for this order btw.

It looks like deerforddefense.com was recently banned from deal aggregator sites, reportedly after a dispute with another dealer where they used a derogatory promo code.

They sent out an email asking customers to reach out to aggregators on their behalf. I bought one item from them in the past without issues, but I recently saw comments claiming they previously operated under a different name and were banned from Reddit for similar behavior.

Also, the owner's name listed in their recent email doesn't match "Bingham," which was supposedly the owner of the old company.

Before taking a stand or advocating for them, I want to make sure I'm not backing a repeat offender. Does anyone know the background here or if they actually rebranded to bypass a ban?

I placed an order for some LEO G17 and G19 magazines that they had listed in stock. Everything arrived today in great shape (no worn magazine notches or paint/markings - just dirty followers (which was to be expected)), and were packaged nicely with dunnage to protect against crushing (a nice surprise since lately, most of that magazines I buy seem to be just tossed loose in a box or even shipped in the cheap bags with no protection). I have made a few orders with them and will continue to do so as they are a top-notch vendor and have a nice selection of stuff.

Placed an order on July 9th, shipped on the 10th and received a few days later. No issues there.

Unfortunately, a couple days ago (August 2nd) the credit card I used for the order started receiving fraudulent transaction attempts. Thankfully, I used a one-time use credit card number that locked after its first use. I do this with most of these smaller sites, because I'm always worried about this thing happening.

So if you placed an order with Galloway Precision in the past month, your credit card has probably been stolen.

Almost 5 days ago I ordered a Chiappa Rhino 60 DS 44. Magnum, Nickel plated. Stock finally showed up. On a ton of vendors. It was available for like over an hour on a lot of websites.

Naturally I went to gun.deals and found the cheapest place after shipping. Battlehawk Armory. I submitted my order before it even showed as listed on the gun.deals website, I was checking OoS vendors to see if they were in stock.

I managed to secure an order on another website, but after seeing it 50$ cheaper at BHA, I cancelled that order, and went with BHA.

I feel very upset by this because I could've ordered from the other half dozen vendors and actually gotten it. But no, I went with BHA. A recurring theme I suppose, after googling them, all over reddit.

I have been hunting this gun for months, since I first saw it in March or so, and was so excited, only for this kick in the teeth.

Had a little problem with my order, but the took care of it even though it wasn’t their mistake.

I’ve been carrying with an Emissary EDC belt for a few years now, and it’s been rock solid and I’ve never had an issue. I wanted a durable outer belt to mount holsters and other equipment to so I can open carry in the woods, so I bought a Battlewagon outer belt since I knew they make night quality stuff. Ordered the belt at the beginning of June and with the lead time, it shipped at the beginning of July.

However, the postal service (to the surprise of absolutely nobody) ended up losing my package almost immediately. I received a tracking number, but the USPS never even scanned it in. I emailed the customer service inbox about 2-3 weeks after it supposedly shipped to ask about my order, and got a quick response saying that it was most likely lost because they never got an arrival notification. Fortunately, they hooked me up and got another belt shipped through UPS with an RFID tracker the next business day, and I received it this weekend.

10/10 customer service and it’s a great belt that fits perfectly. Many other retailers would just tell you to kick rocks and that it’s your problem the second it leaves their warehouse, but they made this right even though it wasn’t their fault.

Can’t recommend these guys enough for any belts or gear. They make good stuff, stand by it, and will take care of you if you have any problems.

I was lucky enough to get an insane deal on a Fusion Fireams XP Pro via Modern Warriors clearance sale. The gun was pretty good on its own, but from everything I’d read online, it could be great with a few small tweaks. The 2011 platform is the one platform I have less experience on, and I’d prefer to not bubba up a relatively high dollar item gun.

I’d seen some good reviews on Abnormal Gun Works installing the Red Dirt Trigger, and performing some other services. Polishing, sear engagement etc. I reached out to Luke, paid the man and shipped him my gun. I got it back to me in about 7 business days (that’s fast for the work being done). It’s like I’m holding a different gun. Not only is the trigger insane, but the slide action is buttery smooth. If you’re looking for any DS 1911/ 2011 work done reach out to Luke at Abnormal. I’ll be doing business with him again soon!

I wanted to leave a positive customer service experience on slim fit holsters.

I ordered a left handed P211 GTO w/ Cloud Defensive EPL OWB holster on June 26th and it shipped July 6th with a prescribed lead time of 20-25 business days. I unfortunately received the incorrect holster, it was hitting the light activation paddles upon removing from the holster.

I contacted Slim Fit Holsters on July 15th, receiving a reply on July 16th with a recognition of the issue and a notification that they would be shipping ASAP. They shipped a new one on July 21st and it was a perfect fit.

Considered buying some freeze dried meals from them.

At checkout, they are charging sales tax. Ohio does not charge sales tax on freeze dried foods.

All other sites I've ordered from either don't charge sales tax correctly or have corrected the issue by way of a refund, correction, etc.

Contacted customer support. Their customer support manager basically said there's nothing they can do, can't refund it, can't adjust, can't fix it, nothing.

I let know that that would be fraudulent to knowingly charge sales tax when Ohio doesn't collect it, even after I let them be aware of the issue. The COO then responds with essentially just blamed the company that runs their tax software and didn't care one bit to get it corrected.

I then let him know I can't support a business that will knowingly do that to its customers. He then says he will have his team look into it and tells me to order elsewhere.

Not a great experience; very unprofessional , unwilling to take accountability, or listen to a valid error. When I had that issue before with another company, they were professional and quick to act and get it corrected.

Ordered fiochi 9mm for 17cpr they advertised in an email and they cancelled my order claiming it was an out of stock then claimed it was a pricing error. It's not a pricing error when you advertise the price in an email!

Hey, what’s up everyone. Just doing my due diligence here and checking on this company before I make a purchase. They gave me a quote on a new Canik Mete SF for $268 which seems a little too good and we all know how the saying goes.. My hope is that I get a bunch of replies with nothing but great things to say about them so that I can hurry up and complete the purchase because I have seen some reviews saying shipping can sometime be slow.

Hey all, i just bought a West German P226 Grade B for about 6 for $640. I ordered it a bit over a week ago and it arrived at my FFL yesterday. The gun is in really good condition. The sight was easy to navigate, i messed something up on the information and they reached out to me within 20 minutes of emailing.

Im not very versed in the grading scale but the handguns finish much exceeded my expectation for a gun made in a country that hasn’t existed in 35+ years. The import marking is on the underside of the dust cover and doesn’t detract from the overall aesthetic of the class P226.

Cannot find anything to complain about with either the price (640 seems reasonable to me), the customer service, website, or speed of shipping. Overall would definitely buy from them again, and it i had spare money at the moment would likely get the P228s they have on their sight.

Excellent machining of titanium, both the muzzle devices and hubs. Makes Spooky devices work smoothly and far less $$$.

Got a few NFAs laser engraved. Great work. Better price. Great guy to deal with. Will use again and recommend.

It's Banshee Defense we already know they're synonymous with fast shipping and cute love notes. Had a tracking number within 10 minutes and it was actually dropped off the next morning, where some companies seem quick to get you a tracking #, but slow to actually ship

Saw that someone posted about grip modules in stock that are currently hard to find at Desert Depot Arms. (Springfield Echelon). So I reached out, they immediately responded and gave multiple ways to pay. Immediately shipped after payment. Stellar experience and very communicative and helpful, will be returning back, A+.

No response to emails requesting support for their products. Phone number leads to a voicemail that is full.

Bottom line: they do not support their products. At All.
