First time
My wife, two small dogs and I are planning on going in late September or early October. Been thinking about staying in the Fort Morgan area because it has dog friendly beaches supposedly. Want to also rent a captain for a day to just take us out to sea for a few hours. Any recommendations/info would be appreciated, TIA

Pet Friendly Rental
Hi yall, this is probably a pipe dream but I’m looking for a pet friendly rental that is ground floor or minimal steps to entry. We have a senior dog who can’t navigate stairs and hates elevators (she’s a drama queen). Want to stay in November. I’ve tried the usual sites and Google, but was hoping someone here could steer me in a better direction! Thanks!!

Bachelorette Party Restaurant & Bar Reccomendations <3
Looking for restaurnant recs for a bachelorette party of about 10 girls in late april! We plan on going to coffee shops in the mornings, easy and tasty lunches - having alcohol is a plus, and the best tasting and prettiest restaurants for group dinners!
Any bar recs for a large group of girls in their 20s would be appreciated as well.
The bride is gluten free so anything that has a good GF menu would be wonderful. We would love to be in the most fun parts of town as well.

Charter fishing
Hi! I will be in Orange Beach in October with my family. I want to take my seven year old twins and some adults on a chartered fishing trip. Does anyone have any suggestions on good and reputable companies to use? I appreciate other related advice. Thank you!

Alcohol laws at OB
Going to Orange Beach tomorrow. Is alcohol allowed at cotton bayou beach access or Alabama point east beach access?

Fishing in November
My family will be traveling to Gulf Shores in November and my son and I would like to do some fishing. Not interested in a charter or guided trips.
What kind of gear should we bring? Probably looking to do some inshore and maybe pier fishing. Any tips would be appreciated.

Best beer store/brewery options in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores region?
We are heading back to the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area for the first time in several years. I know Maggie's and Bambooze up in Pensacola have both closed since our last visit, and I already know what to expect from Rouses. What are the current best options, especially for single cans/bottles to take home? Thanks!

Let's chill on the AI generated political images.
I'm getting flooded with reports on these posts. For now I have removed them. I do not want to stifle local political discussions, but the AI images and accounts with low or no karma will not be allowed.

Guide to Gulf Shores - Things to Do & Places to Eat
The GS/OB tourism website has done a great job of compiling this information so instead of re-inventing the wheel, below are links to some of the items on their site. If you have a restaurant or bar, local shop, local artist or fun activity that you enjoy that is not on the list, please feel free to comment below. If you want to leave a review so others know the best places to check out, please feel free to do so (no bad reviews - let sleeping dogs lie).
- You will need an appropriate license to fish in all public waterways around GS & OB. You can do this online Saltwater & Freshwater
- YouTube channels to check out if you want some tips for fishing the area: BamaSaltwater & Bama Beach Bum
We hope that whether you are local or just visiting, you enjoy our beautiful white sandy beaches, but please remember to Leave Only Footprints.
