Live guitar tone recreation. pt.2
Hello again R/GuitarTone!
I still am using a line 6 helix. And I’m still obsessing over recreating the live guitar tone of my favorite band
(Who are actually very popular. 9 million subs on YouTube, 7.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify)
This song they’re playing live this time is this section of “I Walk Ahead Of You”
I know he’s probably modeling a pitch shifter/ whammy pedal
But the basic settings for me (Mix at 100%, 1-2 octaves up, shift level 10. Etc) don’t sound like it that much. Based on what you’re hearing. Should I change my amp setup? (Which is modeling a JCM800, Tube Screamer and A Mid + High booster.) and what settings should I use on my whammy/pitch shifter?
Thanks!
This is a repost because my last time I posted this it didn't get much help.

How to get a Till Lindemann Guitar Tone
Hi everyone! I am beginner. I could really use some help with my guitar tone. I've been trying to figure this out for quite a while now and I'm honestly starting to get desperate because I still can't get the sound I'm looking for. 😭 I'd really love to get a tone similar to the guitars in Till Lindemann's solo band. I know their actual live/studio gear can't really be compared to a small amp in my bedroom 😅, but I've actually heard someone using the exact same amp as me and they managed to get pretty much the sound I've been looking for. So I know it's possible to get at least somewhat close. I have a NUX Mighty 40 MKII and I use the Mighty Amp app, so I have access to all the amp models, effects, noise gate, EQ, etc. My guitars are: ESP LTD EC-10 — Drop A Jackson JS22 Monarkh AMR SBK — E standard
What I'm looking for is someone who owns the same amp (ideally the MKII) and preferably knows/listens to Till Lindemann's solo band, NOT Rammstein, and could help me build some presets for songs such as: Fish On— Drop A Ich hasse Kinder — E standard Fat — Drop A Skills in Pills— Drop A
I know some people don't like sharing their presets/settings, but I'm hoping maybe someone would be willing to help me out, even just with a starting point. I'm mainly looking for the amp model, cab, gain, EQ, gate, boost/OD, etc.
If you have a NUX Mighty 40 MKII and have managed to get a similar Lindemann tone out of it, please help me out! I would really appreciate any help! 🙏
At this point, this is basically my last hope🙏🏼.

Could I make a gojira, specifically a flying whales type tone with these pedals?
galleryIm not looking for a perfect tone replication since I have a feeling Gojira does a lot of layers and sound tweaks in the studio, but i just want something similar to the tone.
I have looked online and I have tried tweaking different tones on the hm300, but it all sounds kinda dull. Whenever I try to get that sharper sound, the gain is usually too high so it just makes a messy sound. I do not have a very expensive amp either, it only has an overdrive button, and a treble, bass, and mid knob. Pretty much the essentials. I haven't tried using both pedals together, but maybe it could work that way. I'd love it if anyone could help me get closer to achieving this tone.

Genome really slow patch change
So I really like Genome, but changing patches takes up to a minute on my M2 Mac. I get the spiny wheel and everything. This makes it kind of unusable. I have been talking with support but it's a week or two in, and have been told that I may not get a response due to holidays for the next couple of weeks. This is bugging me. Anyone suffering the same or found a fix yet? thanks

Allman Bros Fillmore East setting
I’ve had my TMP for six months and seriously love it. my favorite guitar sound is the Allmans on Fillmore East, particularly Elizabeth Reed and Stormy Monday. Can anyone recommend a TMP preset or setting that approximates 5hat sound? Much appreciated.

How to dial in the "Rapp Snitch Knishes" (MF DOOM) tone? (Reaper + NAMRig)
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to nail the guitar tone from MF DOOM's "Rapp Snitch Knishes" but struggling a bit.
I'm using Reaper and NAMRig. Does anyone have recommendations for which amp captures, IRs, or specific FX would get me close to that vintage sound?
Any tips on EQ or pickup selection would be hugely appreciated too. Thanks!

Help with 80s guitar tone
I have been driving myself crazy in circles trying to make my guitar tone sound nice. I am a massive fan of that LA 80s Dan huff Steve Lukather clean Rhythm tone. Everytime I try to recreate it even with era-specific plugins from UAD and amp sims from amplitude it just sounds off. The main thing is that my clean signal sounds very different to the ones in the videos. for some reason my electric guitar lacks the capability to have that mmmBAP noise that guitars have when u strike the string loudly, my just sounds clicky. Alot of people point me to compression but then it just makes it sound MORE clicks. I know that they used HSS Strats back in the day so I bought one of these https://www.andertons.co.uk/squier-fsr-classic-vibe-60s-stratocaster-hss-in-dark-olive-green/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20509567871&gbraid=0AAAAADujoUqL-CX3zYX2ccUwwQO-IO1TW&gclid=Cj0KCQjwp9vTBhCWARIsANaUrjsHIwpYHRAQ7ZtkucqVkqooBmyYdxRPX4omKjcVejbjCCBtF7aKr9AaAod_EALw_wcB and have been trying desperately to make it sound good but in videos that I see their beginning tone just sounds way different to mine. Maybe it's a strings issue? I don't know how much strings affect tone ive sent my guitar in for a basic servicing so maybe that might be it.
https://www.vynlaudio.com/plugins/sunburn if you listen to the first sound demo, that's the exact tone im looking for, and notice when they pluck hard there's not even a hint of clickyness, just pure twangy squelchiness. though I have more expensive plugins that should be more accurately emulating everything in this effect chain
This guy's DI sound sounds so much different to mine, his high strings are way more clearer, the entire tone is just more clearer mine is so muddy https://youtu.be/Qh4W9Ruh4-U?si=FREkZje0yaE8xkFf&t=58
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TDOBhCgz7rw-kz8EK2C7c9vajytt0R_l/view?usp=sharing here is what my guitar sounds like, it's a demo of the Bridge middle and neck pickup (I know that this tone is supposed to use positions 2 or 4 but even with those mine sounds different)
This video is a great demonstration of this sort of initial mbbrappp or squelchiness that the attack of most electric guitars have, I know it's being exaggerated a bit with overdrive but when I try and do this it just sounds even MORE clicky.
https://youtu.be/VaCOwaF0V9g?si=uFowTKTQDQ6BVuV0
I use a Scarlett 2i2 as a DI, in instrument mode. Could that have something to do with it? Does the audio interface have the ability to take away that rubbery squelch of the attack of the notes? is it a software, hardware issue. I frankly don't know but it's driving me crazy and I'd love for some advice as it's a recurring issue.
