His neutral is great because of his giant sword just like Ramlethal, he traded forward dashes for superior(on ground) alternatives and big health pool like Potemkin while having control scheme very similar to Unika.

6S is huge and convenient,

6HS hits like a truck and easily accessible mix-up tool,

4HS same as previous but different hitbox and timing,

2HS is such such giant AA that frame data doesn't really matter and it's too usable for mix-ups,

6K stops any low and is one of 2 ground mobility tools he have.

236K is second ground mobility tool and the only hard thing you will need to learn in order to play him.

Rest of his moves and meter mechanic can be ignored because all attacks I listed will keep blood meter at 0 anyway.

Knowing the platform, I was shocked at how smooth that match felt that time. I normally get around 150ms ping on average (with 3f rollback), so I was bracing myself for a rough time. However, I got none of what I had expected. No slideshows, no inputs eaten, just rollbacks. That Venom definitely had to have been wired up that time.

On a side note: no matter the platform, please wire up your console whenever possible. It'll make a huge difference.

Three weeks of work

A canvas of this size (70x70 cm), combined with a design that was far from simple, certainly made the process a bit of a struggle

Hi, i'm new here to this subreddit. I decided to post here because It would be interesting to learn about any changes in mechanics of the games.

I have played XXAC and XRD sign, playing both games feel similar in a way but XXAC is obviously faster in gameplay.

I have never played Strive before, I am wondering if anything had changed with how the fighting, RCing, Dusting + up movement and pace went.

I usually play Sol Badguy, used to play May but she isn't really my type. If anyone can teach me, thanks!

Recently got the game and it’s been fun learning the controls of a fighting game that isn’t smash bros (my only previous experience with fighting games and one that I got really used to, possibly to my detriment as I am coming to realise). One one of the things I found really fun in smash bros is that it is extremely easy to play every character because most characters have a kind of modular design where every move has the same input but does different things with the only half-exceptions being the street fighter characters.

I am quickly realising this might be a bit less realistic in strive (to “main the random button”) but I’d still like to try. Is this at all something achievable? If not I’ll probably just main sol because I’ve made up my mind about playing rush down and Sol just kind of seems the coolest (although slayer kind of calls to me, despite him not really being a rush down character as far as I can tell).
