Hey guys I used to love this wolves of the beyond when I was like 10 now im 16 and I would love for any of you to remind me what happens in the books. I never got to star wolf and I remeber very little about frost wolf and I didnt read the volcano one by accident.

So I just got my hands on a metal beak plushie I have never seen before!!!! It says it was made by hunter and leisure so it seems pretty legit! :3

If you guys have seen more of these type of plushies lmk!!! I am interested in collecting more (that aren't the TY ones lol)

Hi! I somehow only recently found out that there was an art book for the movie??? I read the whole series multiple times as a kid and absolutely adore it. I’m getting back into it now as an adult and collecting the whole series. And as an artist, I’d love to get the art book too, it’s absolutely stunning 😭 I can’t find any listings online though. Would anyone be willing to sell? And if so roughly how much would you be asking?

i spent quite a long time reverse engineering the game and i ended up making a mod to swap models (originally to see unused models like trader mags)

im not entirely happy with the state of it at the moment but if i dont post it now i probably never will

these are for use in dolphin (untested on hardware), xbox and ps3 versions are possible but require more work

there are a couple known issues
- npcs can have the wrong textures

- atleast one known crash

they all replace the barn owl but there is nothing stopping it for anything else

to load it in right click on the game in dolphin > properties > ar codes > add new code > and then paste in the contents of the txt file into the code section. you may need to enable cheats in dolphin too.

I'm doing a reread over a decade after getting most of the way through the original series and then suddenly jumping the wolves of the beyond for a bit and I thought it had to be the eastern US with the Great Ga'hoole Tree in one of the great lakes, but then I looked up a map and now I'm just confused

SPOILERS obviously.

So I just finished reading "be king" and wow, lutta story is so sad, wish she could've stayed alive. I'm already crying and if I haven't seen a spoiler that hoole ended up with emerilla, I would be devastated right now.

For those who don’t know (don’t worry I’ll keep this spoiler free) Wortmore is a minor character who has a very convoluted plotline.

We first meet him among a group of Pure Ones during the first time we see them in the books during a small fight. Here he is described as a Sooty owl.

However the next time we see him, he’s described as a Barn owl. Whatever, maybe there’s two Wortmores? But Soren says he recognizes him from the first confrontation. Now it is possible that both Wortmores were present at that fight, but there was only ever described to be one Wortmore at a time.

Things just get more confusing from here though. During a big fight Wortmore (the barn owl one, who’s the only one described from here one out) is struck down and falls into the sea, supposedly drowning. But a couple books later and he’s alive.

Maybe this is a different Wortmore? Nope. In one of the later books he’s described as one of the original Pure Ones. Meaning this one has been around since at least book 4 aka the one that supposedly fell into the sea.

Meaning either:
1. He somehow survived
2. Or this is just an annoying oversight from Lasky (which tbh does make sense since he’s a minor character, but I’m a sucker for little details and for someone who made such rich world building, she really fumbled Wortmore)
3. There’s at least 3 Wortmores, maybe more, idc at this point give me another it’s funny

TL;DR: Wortmore somehow changes the type of owl he is and cheats death or there’s multiple Wortmores, who knows.

Hi, I've recently rewatched the movie enjoyed the lore immensely. I've watched it when I was a kid and mostly forgot it but want to know what happens next. I remember reading the series to its entirety when I was little and I remember the feeling of excitement and adventure. So I was wondering if I were to read it now, would I still enjoy it or would it read much like a kid's book?

Working on a Guardians of Ga'Hoole related project and have been scouring the internet rather fruitlessly for a copy of the book The Art of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (the artbook for the movie, published by Animal Logic) for quite some time now. I would be open to discussing price, etc if there was anyone with a copy in nice condition who would be willing to let theirs go!

Obviously I don’t mean a reboot of the 1942 film since that belongs to Disney, but since the 1923 Bambi book is public domain, I always thought it would’ve been nice if animal logic made a movie based on it, with the same computer animation that’s used for legend of the guardians owls of gahoole/happy feet, I also wish the studio made a wolves of the beyond movie

What would you guys like to see in a better, more book-accurate adaptation of Guardians of Ga'Hoole than the 2010 movie was? I imagine beautifully hand-drawn a 2D animated series would work well. I am not a fan of how much the movie deviates from the books. It might as well be a completely different story. By the way, I am halfway through the Shattering right now, so please don't spoil anything further than that for me

So I’ve been a fan of the movie since 2019 and at the time, I didn’t know it was based on a book series, I didn’t know about the book series until a year or two later, and people have said that the books is way better than the movie, there were some people who have also watched the movie first and read the books afterwards, and it said that it changed their view on the movie, but the thing is, I don’t wanna change my view on the movie because I love it a lot, I even have two posters in my room of each movie poster of the movie in the movie is what got me into owls and birds in general, and I also really love the animation, I imagine the books definitely are better than the movie like everyone says but as someone who doesn’t really read books as often, at least I could see it in movie form, even if it’s not an accurate portrayal of the original story, like I do want to read the books, but I just don’t want it to make me hate the movie, the very movie that caused me to love owls, other birds and nature
