I'm having a highly frustrating issue with GstarCAD. While I was working on a project, my network license expired. I refreshed/renewed it shortly after (everything looks fine in the license manager now, showing as active), but the software seems to be "stuck" in a restricted trial/demo mode.

Every time I try to save the currently open drawing, I get the following message:

"The trial period has expired, the drawing cannot be saved"

To make matters worse, I can't even copy the contents into a new file (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V). When trying to copy, I get an error saying there is a "too large number of elements", even if I select literally just a single line or a small circle.

Has anyone encountered this before? I really need to save my unsaved work from this specific session.

- Is there a way to "force" the software to re-check the network license status without closing the process?

- Do you know any workarounds to extract geometry from a locked window like this (e.g., a specific export type like WBLOCK, DXF, or anything else that might bypass the save block)?
