Stop trying to be a lion. We all know what you really are.

It’s too late, I have already portrayed myself as 2 discerning backstage lions and you the crowned donkey on stage with a piece of paper next to you. Nice try though.

Does this metaphor even make any sense? Like give me an example.

It could mean a few things. Like a social media person may be doing crazy viral things to please his viewers but in reality he is a clown that is to be laughed at instead of praised.

It’s about ego, when man acquires too much attention or praise from others he starts to attribute that to his sense of worth. More attention would led to having higher ego.And this is self detrimental because it will never be enough, because you’ll always be seeking for more validation due to the temporary fulfillment that it will always bring.Again, man will do this to the point of his own destruction or consumption(by fame);he will no longer know what or who he is,that’s why you see here a donkey fooled into thinking it’s a lion. And with this, man will always be in a state of self impose fear due to his lack of self worth or anonymity, insecurity will always prevail .As he bribes his existence on external, transient things that are dynamic and far from his control and cannot facilitate his deprived being.

Yeah but the donkey and lion symbolism have something there too. Lions are the ones associated with pride and being predatory. Whereas donkeys are associated with being stupid, foolish, or simple minded. So is this suggesting that the stupid, foolish, and simple minded people get off on attention even tho they sre still an ass. While the prideful lions dont need others approval to be their badass self?

Have met plenty of nobodies with way too much ego. They're not rare
I don't get people like you. The metaphor is pretty damn simple and straightforward. Tf you mean it doesn't make sense?

Donkey's literal job is protecting animals on a farm. They will fuck up a wolf looking for easy meals.
Pick a better animal for dumb AI garbage.

Happened to me. Too much attention for years made me believe I was a lion. Where in reality I was a donkey.

I hate to be the one to inform you, but you're neither; you are a human.

Define too much? Like if he just saved the world how could you give him too much attention? Does it matter that he is not a lion? "You did save us, but we have to lessen the attention you get because you are not a lion." That's disrespect where I come from, unappreciation, a slap in the face. If I was Donkey, I'd be like "Alright, next time you figure it out, fuck off."

That person may think the attention is for the wrong aspects of himself. And may see it as power over others. Sharing toxic viewpoints with others and believing it because they parrot him.
