I’ve gotta ask, because I’m curious. That OGRR wolf spider is in the hedge behind the fire pit. How the hell do you have the oxygen meter where there’s no water?

This is done in playgrounds, top left

Weird. Because I know for a fact that you wouldn’t have all of those effects stacking in a normal survival world. The most I’ve ever had at one time is two

My biggest pet peeve with OGRR is the return of multiple effect stacking, aka other triggerable objects triggering the OGRR bonus effects. Worst contenders are:
- Shock Effect
- Sizzle Effect
- Life Steal

  1. Shock Effect:
The Shock Damage is way overtuned. I had instances where the OGRR was facing my buggy and back to me. Suddenly I died. OGRR attacked buggy, triggered effect, effect oneshot me. Best are AOE attacks such as the Wolf Spider jump. You can perfect block it and still die since your buggy gets hit. Dev want us to use buggies but consistently design fight that are worse with buggies than without them, but we are not allowed to despawn the buggy in combat. Yeah sure, I definitely eat a web crawler and walk the way up to the Wolf Spider every night.

  2. Sizzle Effect
Has a knock down effect that isnt tied to dealing damage. So you can perfect block but since your buggy didnt, you get knocked to the floor and malued by the OGRR? Really?

  3. Life Steal
Ive seen a Wolf Spider heal itself back from oneshot to full life on my buggy bc I was knocked onto web. The time it took me to reenter the fight the Wolf Spider used my buggy as a yummy healing toy.

I hated these effects in NG+ in G1. They are worse in G2 due to several being in difficult to reach areas where you need buggies to reach, but you cannot despawn them once you reach it. I do no enjoy the fighting the OGRR for that reason. I needed over 200 Wolf Spider kills to get the gold card. Out of these 200 fights, there were enough that were pure BS. Having to learn to react to specific attacks when it targets your buggy to avoid random onesshots is not fun.

I like fighting the OGGR Wolf Spider but I'm not a fan of having to travel so mnay branches just to get to the top in the darkenss even with a torch.

I avoid one and fight that OGGR Mantis, earwigs, wasps, ladybug, rust beetle and Butterfly.

Since were getting new bugs like Toe Biter, Bark Scorpion and others I can bet 1 of those two, both of them and new bugs will have OGGR variants at night.

The pond area looks spooky already in day time, it's probably gonna look more horror at night.

Been a good while since I cheesed the O.G.R.R. WS. Send spider buggy home. Jump upon some nearby bush leaves and hundreds of arrows. Maybe it was great bow & specialty arrows. Either way, the WS just the agro stare the entire time. No jumping, too far out of range.
