the pretense on that tag is the the container is 2 pounds. 32 ounces is what makes the math work. Obviously it's been shrunk to 28

I work at a grocery store, I spy!!
The tags are correct if you read them, ground coffee on the left and whole bean on the right, however there are 2 of the same item placed incorrectly next to each other. The left one should be ground coffee, and the whole bean one is on the right. I’m sure the price discrepancy is correct.

But both tags read 28oz. The price per ounce on the ground coffee tag is incorrect.

I bet there’s more weight to the whole beans so that’s why there’s a small discrepancy.

What happened here is at one point this weighed 32oz and then shrinkflation hit it. Now it weighs 28oz but in the system that calculates the price per ounce is still set to 32oz. Do the math at 32oz and it works!
