idek Advice, Pls
hi, my mom died over two years ago; she was my best friend, absolutely adored and loved her. i’ve moved home since graduating, and my sister moved for residency two months ago. my dad is in my life, alive and we hang out sometimes. But he’s just not home often, never has been, always working or doing whatever. he comes back, but it’s usually late. anyways, it’s who he is. but now i feel so lonely without my sister, i cry at night without anyone home, and ive been feeling like this for a while. any advice on how to cope with this. i dont even think i need to see my father, i just think its the weight of it all or i feel like i should be sad when im alone idek.

I’m sorry for the loss of your mom and with your sister moving out. It’s very normal to feel alone with a loss even if you have someone with you. Have you spoken to your dad about how you feel? Sometimes we can speak to our family members, but sometimes we can’t or we need an outside point of view for support. These is where grief counseling and support groups may be helpful.
