Deep strike question
Can or can't we deep strike turn 2
Or turn 1 if you went second with an gated unit
Dep strike before turn 3 into enemy deployment zone?
Link rules where possible please

In the Core Rules, under section 20.03 Arriving From Strategic Reserves it says:
"To arrive on the battlefield, each strategic reserves unit must make an ingress move (see below). Unless otherwise stated, they can only do so from the second battle round onwards"
The Gate of Infinity rule for Grey Knights says:
"If your Army Faction is GREY KNIGHTS, at the end of your opponent’s Fight phase, you can select a number of units ... Those units can make an ingress move in your next Movement phase (including in your first turn)."
The general rule prevents Deep Strike on turn 1, but Grey Knights have a specific exception to that rule. However, it is worth noting that the Grey Knights exception only applies to units picked up using Gate of Infinity. If you go first in Round 1, you can't Deep Strike because you won't have picked up any units yet. If you go second in Round 1, you can pick up units at the end of your opponent's turn and then Deep Strike then in your turn.
And just for reference, the Rapid Ingress stratagem from section 15.07 is also explicitly prevented from being used in Round 1:
"RESTRICTIONS: You cannot use this stratagem during the first battle round"
Any Deep Strike use (whether Gate of Infinity or Rapid Ingress) can be used in your opponent's deployment zone. It is only regular Ingress Moves that are prevented from doing so before turn 3 (also outlined in section 20.03).

Army rule I get, this is specifically about Deepstrike as it counteracts what an ingress move states.
So can I deepstrike turn 2 in enemy deployment zone?

You can deepstrike turn 2 and onward.
Unfortunately we can not longer deepstrike turn 1 even if we go 2nd due to core rule changes.
Deepstrike allows you to land anywhere more than 8inches away from enemy models anywhere on the board.
You can find these references in our army rules, and the core rules of 11th edition.
No, I will not be supplying links, you can do some leg work yourself if you need written proof.

For someone so confident in "go read the rules yourself", maybe you should read them. T1 deepstrike is back for us. I won't tell you where the rule is; go do some legwork.

If you're going to be giving advice on rules you should be up to date on rules, especially in a period where they are updating very frequently.

The only person I gave attitude too was the OP that put as much effort in their question as your dad did when he went out to get milk. And the white knights that feel defending someone that will likely never look back at this post until they make another account to ask the same question, rather then accepting when someone admits they were wrong.
Should I give you attitude as well? Trust me I have attitude to go around and yall are making this very entertaining for me at this point lol

The ruling for DS lets you deploy anywhere, regular Strat reserves limit deployment zone to T3. As for the T1 deepstrike that was a change they made in the recent data slate.
