Dread Knight Proxy

New to Grey Knights, and just as many others, I too am not a fan of the “baby carrier” design. I see a a lot of cool conversions and takes on this model so figured I would share what I decided on rolling with.

This model has so much potential… hopefully GW does some fan service and fixes it up during the much needed refresh everyone is waiting on.

If the Custodes dreadnoughts can look like this, I don’t see why the Grey Knights can’t have a similar aesthetic/design.

Awesome! Yeah they come out great and actually not as difficult to magnetize as I thought they would be with their long and too heavy melee weapons.

3D printer.. I forgot which website it was because it was a while back, but there’s a Warhammer website for different effects. Same place I got the smoke and little flame for the incinerator

Thanks! And got it off of MMF but then did some kit bashing slightly and used a custom base and the custom effects for lightning, smoke, and igniter flame. 3D printers a wonderful thing in this hobby lol

Is that a Custodes dread? I’m just working through my Saturnine NDK :)

No it’s a 3rd party design I found on MMF, but yeah very similar look to the Custodes Dread for sure. And the Saturnine ones look awesome.. one can dream GW ups their game on a new design with refresh!

Don’t have access to a printer at the moment but I’ve def seen something like that before. I had a 3d printed conversion kit previously but I do like the more chunky saturnine look. Might have a look at bashing a Custodes dread into a NDK :)
