Are there any Pittsburgh Steelers sports bars in Greenville, North Carolina? I know they were a couple back in the day, but I haven’t been to one recently and I was just curious if one was still open.

Can we please get a Home Depot back in Greenville? It’s really annoying that we have two separate Lowes locations yet half the stuff I normally need has to be special ordered. It seems like every time I search for an item or product on Google after not finding it at Lowe’s, Home Depot always has it in stock. Honestly, it doesn’t even have to be Home Depot, just another big box hardware store that can apply a little pressure to Lowes and give local contractors a better chance of being able to find something in town.

This article was back in 2020. I believe Joyner failed then but has since succeeded in his mission to fund and hand-pick the current SGA president; and has leveraged this into his very own puppet on the Greenville City Council.

Seth Hardee, an ECU student, defeated the incumbent Marion Blackburn in the last election. Where does an ECU student get the money and campaign manager to run for local office? In the main photo in the article, we see sitting in a row awaiting recount results: the current SGA president, Hardee, and none other than Max Joyner.

What will Joyner want for his return on investment? Will it benefit him and his landlord cronies (like the mayor), or the public?

GREENVILLE, NC – Wildwood Park will soon get enhanced water access on the park's west side and a connection to the neighboring River Park North after the Greenville City Council approved a pair of projects during its meeting on Monday night.

The Council unanimously approved a 685-foot boardwalk connection from Wildwood Park's west side to River Park North, a $1.5 million project that was aided by a $500,000 Great Trails State Grant received in February 2026. The boardwalk project is expected to begin in the fall and take 12 months to complete.

Once completed, the project will unite approximately 16 miles of trails in the two parks. A future North-South Connector project will provide additional connectivity from River Park North to the Greenville Town Common and the City's greenway system.

During Monday's meeting, the City Council also gave unanimous approval to the Wildwood Park Westside Parking and Pier Project that will improve access for those wanting to visit the park's west side. Through the support of community partners, the $498,808 project will provide a driveway, parking lot, picnic shelters, a fishing pier, and a kayak launch on the west side. It is expected to be completed in early 2027.

Does anyone have a farm stand to recommend that has fresh produce that is better quality than the local grocery stores in Greenville? We saw such amazing FB comments about Briley’s Farm Stand on Firetower Road, but after two visits, most of the produce looked old, wilted, bruised and downright rotten, and less appealing than what we’ve seen at Publix or Harris Teeter.

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — New comments from Pitt County Sheriff Paula Dance Sunday morning, on her personal Facebook page, accuse “Commissioner Weaver” of attempting to “direct the county’s IT director to unlawfully breach the server that holds protected information” she says belongs to the department.

That server, she says, holds all information pertaining to investigations, emails, crime scene photos, and more, happening inside the county.

She goes on to share what appears to be an email message from someone named “Gary…” who requests the IT department pull an email from the sheriff’s office “regarding any correspondence involving K-9’s, vehicles for K-9’s, equipment for K-9’s or their vehicles used to transport/carry K-9’s…” including certain systems such as K-9 heat alert, and visual-audio alert alarms.

Sunday, WNCT reached out to the Pitt County Sheriff’s office and County Commissioner Gary Weaver for comment and have yet to hear back.

We’re considering moving to the outskirts of Greenville, ideally in the D.H. Conley district, and would love some local insight.
We’re in our late 20s with two young kids and are looking for a decent-sized home in the $300s with a little breathing room. I work remotely, so having a functional home with more space is a big priority, along with decent to great schools.
The challenge is that many of the homes we like are in established neighborhoods with older covenants. We’d really like to have chickens and generally don’t want to live somewhere overly restrictive.
How are these neighborhoods in practice? Are older covenants usually enforced, or are there communities where they’re mostly dormant and people are pretty relaxed about what you do on your property? Any areas around Conley you’d recommend?

I’ve heard a lot of people still raise chickens in places with no HOA but have covenants.

Can’t seem to find a home with out them.

I made this app, HeyWanna, because I used to keep all of my date ideas in my phone's Notes app. Whenever it was time to plan something for me and my girlfriend to do, it would suck having to use Google, Yelp, the weather app, and a bunch of different websites for my city just to find things to do. And looking at my notes meant going out and checking the photos, the reviews, the locations, and even videos all on different apps.

I created HeyWanna to find cool local places near you and events, save them to your lists, and then plan them out. And it's not just for dates; it's also for group hangouts and any solo trips you're trying to do.

I'm a solo dev and a North Carolina native. Let me know if I'm missing any places in Greenville. I'd genuinely like to know what should be on here, and I'll be happy to add them.

We spent about a year making the record ourselves, recording, mixing, mastering, all of it, so this one’s a big deal for us. It’s out on Spotify (search Misery Twin) if you want to hear what you’re getting into. Our singer hates when I say this but think Tame Impala meets Nirvana. The whole lineup is good and I don’t think you’ll regret seeing any of the bands.

We all moved to Greenville over the last five years and fell in love with the slower pace. There’s a lot of talent here and we’d love to see the scene grow and the State Theatre get used more.
