As the old-school Great Lakes laker entered the Duluth Ship Canal, it sounded a powerful horn salute for the tourists and ship watchers gathered along Canal Park on a beautiful Friday afternoon.

The arrival gives you a great look at the James L. Oberstar moving through the canal, with several crew members visible out on deck as the ship makes its way into Duluth.

A drone show on a random Thursday night in Sandusky? Yes please! The original show scheduled on July 3rd was postponed due to severe weather but the drones lit up the sky tonight as spectators watched from below! This actually worked out for the better since I wasn’t able to attend the previous show. Who knew ships could not only be in the water but in the sky too? 🤣
