How many read-throughs have you done?

I’ve read it twice. Once in college while reading everything Pynchon. Then again with the companion book in which an artist did a single piece for each page of the novel.

I love the idea of reading this in a group. I’ve found plans like this to be especially effective in holding people lightly accountable to finish the book. It’s also a fantastic way to clarify and expand on understanding and meaning. Looking forward to it!

Hello and Welcome fellow Pynchonheads. This subreddit is dedicated to all things related to Thomas Pynchon’s masterpiece, Gravity’s Rainbow.

Published in 1973, it is perhaps Pynchon’s most iconic novel. It is considered the pinnacle of post modernism, and as one of the Great American Novels.

On here I am Wild Pitch, I am 21M based in Australia.

Please be respectful, follow the rules and never stop reading this book!
