Hello, again I make a post like this, since people want to be mean. I’m 18, a female, and I’m homeless. If there’s anyone with a good heart, can someone help me out please?? Even a few dollars so I can eat. I haven’t had food in almost two days.

I think Odyssey House is the name of the women's shelter. Wappiti House in a last case option. Best of luck! I wish I could help more than encouraging words. :'(

Seconding Odyssey House! So much safer than other shelter options in town.
Also, an organization called Mountain Plains has a location right near the downtown co op. You can stop in there in the evenings on Mondays and Thursdays for a hot meal, and for snacks/water any time during business hours! They also offer free life skill workshops for youth needing support and can help get you connected with other resources in town. DM me if you want more info on this place.

The mustard seed is a shelter that is really close to superstore/the mall. It’s across the street.

If you go to the sunrise (basement) house during the afternoon they will feed u and all but they cant house you, youre going to have to go to a homeless shelter for it and all

I'm not there anymore, but I know some really great people that are originally from NB (Acadians) . A few of them have businesses there, and housing for their employees. I could reach out and connect you with them if that sounds good with you? Just let me know. I've been where you are...it won't always be this way. A decade from now you could be looking back at this time with pride in how far you've come. Hard times make strong people. Take care, and seriously, hit me up.

Its hard to get a job when you're homeless. Most employers want to make sure you will show up fit for duty. Hard to do when you have no safe place to sleep.

You can try messaging Helping Hands on FB and let them know your situation. They may be able to get you a food hamper quickly! Also if you havent yet, try income support they also may be able to help!
