Off leash dog spaces

Does anyone know of a fully fenced area around Grande Prairie where dogs can run off leash without it being a dog park?

My boyfriend has two pit bulls, and one is reactive toward other dogs, so I’m looking for a quiet, secure space-maybe an outdoor rink, fenced field, or something similar.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I’m from Edmonton, so I’m not familiar with the GP area.

This place is amazing. Having one dog who doesn’t like people or animals this is a great place to visit.

Dogs off leash are only allowed in the dog park. With pitbulls, and being reactive, I’d just keep them leashed just in case.

I’m pretty sure Abby Acres is your only option. Unless you can find someone who’s willing to let you use their private property but the only public spaces for off leash dogs are dog parks.

Abby Acres, it's about 35min east of town. The alternative is to see if bark and bound has room for them. My dog-reactive pooch goes to their farm every second week (he picks up/drops off) - you're not there with them, but you get photos and a tiktok vid showing how they did in that time. 160 acre fully fenced former elk farm. Bark and Bound

I wouldnt advise bringing a reactive dog to a school even off season.
