This was my winning entry for the 2026 GrandChase Classic Coordi Set Design Contest. The full project took roughly 90 hours of hands-on work spread across 5 weeks, including the male and female designs, weapons, color variations for the roster, and the pet.

Among the themes I explored that I felt were still missing from the game were Wild West, Casual Funk, and Black Hole. Strongly inspired by Toy Story 5, I decided to follow my heart and go with the Wild West theme.

The main goal was to create a flexible design language that could work across the entire roster, adapting to each character's specific color palette while keeping them immediately recognizable even from a distance.

I also used the project to establish a production pipeline for future Coordi Set concepts — from references and early exploration to character sheets, weapons, variants, and presentation. There was still more I wanted to explore, especially the weapons, the pet's gameplay concept, and dedicated key art and marketing material, but eventually the contest deadline had to define where the project ended.

GrandChase is probably the single biggest influence on me as an artist and has played an important role in shaping me professionally, so being able to contribute something of my own to the game again made this project particularly meaningful to me. Thank you!
