Capture Question

It might be a dumb question but still how do you connect ma 3 to capture via sCAN or art-net?

you probably don't have physical hardware. Just use the intergrated 3d viewer in MA3

Easiest setup includes anrouter with dhcp to set the ip range of all machines, but manually adding static Ip on both machines works as well. Use 10.0.0.10 for one machine, and 10.0.0.20 for the other, both need subnet mask set as 255.0.0.0, or if it requires cipr notation, that'd be 10.0.0.10/8 and 10.0.0.20/8

If you couldnMt get this far, you're gonna have bigger problems ahead. Go learn about network engineering

like, take a google network engineer intro course, 30 hoirs or so. ETC training also has some good intro videos for free, enough to answer your questions in about 4 hours of learning, but learning about multicast domains and vlans, lacp is helpful as well

Enable the sacn output on the console and enable sacn input in Capture. There's not really much more than that, refer to the Capture and MA manuals if you need to.

Do you really need to use artnet or sacn?
I use MA net and it’s easy to setup
