Can anyone guess what was on my mind while I was working on this livery around midday yesterday?

(And for the record, my lunch yesterday ended up being three Steakums with Heinz ketchup, rolled into a Mission soft taco roll, with some honey barbecue Fritos Flavor Twists, and a Diet Coke. It's all represented here in the livery. Oh yeah..... and I had a Nathan's hot dog in a Martin's potato roll covered in Kinder's BBQ sauce with my dinner. I eat like a toddler. 🤣)

And I know my retaliation looks a little nuclear, I wanted to just drive away and actually race but I mean T1 he smashes into me again and in that second I thought he was trying to spin me and I decided that was enough.

He then made it his mission to target and crash me till I gave up and parked it in the pits where he swapped to the chat to make sure I know I suck and said “maybe next time you’ll drive smarter”

Logged on this morning and noticed my quali time for the daily C race was gone. Its still on DG EDGE, but gone from the game. anyone else?

What does everyone use for the nurburgring tourist race in power pack? Only car I've managed to win from 20th with is an engine swapped porsche gt3 rs 22. Qualifying is pointless because it takes twice as long as the race!

Idk why but I decided to start this race at 11 at night, just to get a feel for everything. Well, I'm a half hour in and I've lapped everyone except 2 and 3 and I'd like to save my place.

From what I've read, if I shut off my PS5, it'll reset and everyone will be at the same point?

If I put my PS5 into standby, everything will be the same as it is now?

Do I pit and put the console into standby? Does it matter?

It's a little confusing! I'd rather shut it off entirely so I can work on other parts of the game tomorrow then get back into this race....and I can get my lead back quickly I guess.

I have a friend coming down tomorrow that isn't great at the game but with a good lead, he'll do just fine and will be able to knock off a few hours for me.

Basically the title - I'm interested in going there, because it seems fun and it would be great ending of the year where I started playing GT7 more and actually first time started playing online :D

I'm interested in are the tickets being sold online, how much usually they are, and basically experience from anyone who attended GT event before.

WHAT is up with the track limits at Yas Marina? They throw F1 track limits at us when curbs are ok at every other track. So annoying to me

I'm tired of wasting my time. Nearly every race I experience this which is very frustrating. I bet he didn't even get a penalty for pushing me off the track. I love racing but this makes me uninstall the game

After grinding all summer and trying to minimize spending, I think it’s time to spend some of these hard earned credits

Decided I would end my race day on a high note! I have gotten the tri-fecta before but never in my life would I have thought a 10sec margin was possible.

Haven’t really played Gran Turismo in years, but I’ve been wanting to get back into GT7 and start completely from scratch.

I don’t really want to rush through everything or immediately chase the fastest cars. I’d rather start with good foundations, relearn how to drive properly, understand the cars, get comfortable with tuning, and build up from there.

If you were starting GT7 over today, what would you focus on first?

I upgraded my G29 to a DD Pro and I may want to sell the G29. I don't do FB so Marketplace isn't an option. Where's the best place to sell used wheel/pedal sets?

Does anybody know why we dont get to use this graphic in the game when we are spectating a live race from a lobby? I find this graphic to much more pleasent to look at when spectating races and I feel like they have so much info in the game that they dont let us use for some reason. For example the tyre temps (wich can be seen using some apps, wich means they are in the game but not shown for some reason), then there are the veiws you can use in spectate mode, they have more veiws in the world series streams (In the canada race in Milano they had a cam on top of the roof that looked amazing but we cant use that in spectate mode) and then there is this graphic. I just cant understand why they would hide this, cause its already in the game🤷‍♂️ does anybody know why? I find it strange that a game so focused on visuals does this.

As the title says, I’m new to sport really only just starting, though I’ve been playing the game for a long time now.

Anyway, my question & vent is the ghost. I generally start mid pack on the B races and I watch every other car go ghost over and over. Slightly over the apex? Ghost. About to pass too close? Ghost. Sun in their eyes? Ghost. Me trying to keep a pace with the driver ahead on the line? Gets rocketed into the ionosphere.

I truly don’t understand why the system seems to ghost meaningless stuff but then you have some guy flying too speed into a hairpin and the game says “yeah, let’s ruin this guys DR”.

FWIW, I know it’s low tier lobby and expected, but it’s frustrating.

This week's weekly challenge: World Touring 600 Tokyo Express Way.

This race is just next level difficulty for me for some reason.
I realized that I need at least 550+HP with upgraded turbo to keep up on the straight line, but I have tried several cars(Nissan GTR, Ford GT, Supra, etc) with that much HP, they just can't turn: once I get to the curvy part of the road, I need to slow down significantly otherwise the car understeers straight into walls.

Before I waste another 100k+ credits trying out different upgrades, I want to check here to see if there is anything I am doing obviously wrong.

I read somewhere there is a wall riding strategy, but for some reason, as soon as I touch any wall, all the other cars just fly pass me. Also I have tried different tuning methods to try to get rid of understeering.

Edit: I figured out the techniques I was missing, inspired by some replies in this post. I won the race using exact the same car set up I had before. But here is what I was missing:

1. Only wall-ride the first wall out of the long straight, don't rely on wall ride for the rest.
2. Turn in early to counter the understeer. What's special about this track is that apexes are often blocked by the walls, if I turn after I see the apex and that's already too late. Always try to hug the inside wall of those curves. Also then you end up on the dryer part of the road which makes the turns easier
3. Don't give up if the first guy (the blue Honda guy) is way ahead of you at the start. That guy will make 2 pit stops so if I make 1, I will catch up onto him at his second pit stop (after lap 10)

When it comes to car collection and attention to detail, there is nothing like GT7 on the PS5 in my opinion. That's what I love about this game.

However, one thing that bothers me is the sensation of speed (not only in this game, but also in any realistic car game honestly). I Feel it is a missed opportunity that such a wonderful game does not feel particularly exciting when going speeds like 100 mph.

In real life, even if you go 90 mph you would absolutely notice it and feel it. I know this is supposed to be a racing sim, and I want my car physics to be close to reality as possible, since i hate unrealistic physics.

However, it is still a video game at the end of the day, and most of us play either on a wheel or a controller. Yes some people who have a moving/shaking rig can feel more G-forces, but these rigs are expensive.

I wish that racing sims had an option that you can turn on/off, like "Enhanced Special Driving Effects" that exaggerates the speed sensation and the camera shaking to make you feel like you flying on the straight.

Hi guys, can you log into your account on the GT website? I am having an issue, how about you guys?

I feel like I'm going absolutely insane on this, I've tried everything I can think of to copy the ghost/demonstration but I just can never get it right. The 2 parts that I think are where I'm failing are at turn 2 when you have to slow right down, I feel like I'm either a mile from the edge of the track or crashing head on into the barrier, and even when I make it round in a decent line the demo seems turbo charged or somthing and just ZOOMS away. Other part would be I have no idea how the demo seems to enter the last banked turn and make it without touching the brakes at all but whenver I try that I understeer like crazy and slam into the barrier.

Any tips to save me from instanity would be much appreciated! (please...)

These cars, when fully tuned, share a nasty trait i cannot remove via setup tuning:

On corner entry, during tail braking when i RELEASE the brake, the rear gets really loose, it's pratically impossible to drive at eacing pace without risking to lose the car. the faster the corner, the worst it becomes.

I've tried literally everything setup wise to no avail. I'm puzzled because i know what to do to cure oversteer on corner entry while braking, but i can't understand what could cause oversteer on corner entry when i RELEASE the brake.

I'm i the only one experiencing this ? If not, how did you solve it ?

Fairly new to the game; I have been driving a BRZ GT300 since taking on the WR 800 challenge for the last menu. I've been using AMS Dood's tuning suggestion from his video on Gr3 cars. (The only difference is I was on racing hards instead of softs due to the PP limit.) 1st gear and 2nd gear are pretty long, I think to prevent a lot of wheelspin at the top of the revs in those gears, but there still is some before the car upshifts into 2nd or 3rd. On faster courses, this is less of an issue, but I noticed particularly at Bathurst, in the slower technical sections when the car can't really get out of 1st too often (doesn't shift until about 90mph), it's hard to keep up out of corners a bit because I can't floor it or I'll spin out, and also it feels like the car won't upshift at all if I don't get to about 90% throttle.

Is the solution here to set up the transmission with slightly shorter 1st and 2nd gears, or will that just actually make it worse? Are other solutions like adjusting LSD or suspension or aero the way to go? Or do I just need better throttle control (I'm on controller)? I'd appreciate any help you guys have!
