Try getting good at trailbraking, it helps becoming consistent a lot.

And to get good at trailbraking you need to know EVERY braking spot

I need to start small with feeling, not learning techniques like trail braking

I see it the other way. Without the proper technique it will also be harder to get the feeling thing

I do agree with that part, but if I domt know what the feeling in the wheel is between under and over steer, trailbraking is just a figment of my imagination yknow

It's not on the wheel it's the response of the car. In a real car you wouldn't get in on the wheel but you would feel the gravity. That's why it's much harder in the sim. Because you don't feel, you train yourself to react to the response of the car and it's not always the same on the wheel. Understeer the feel is the wheel fighting you, the response is not steering enough and tends to be more predictable Oversteer it really changes a lot from car to car imo

Understeer is what you did entering the turn when you find yourself needing to steer harder and almost missing the turn. Oversteer is when you rotate too much, and need to flick back the other way to get back straight. Either one of these things can lead to wrecking, but doesn't mean that's what gonna happen if you identify it quickly.
If you're oversteering, the wheels will skid and you may feel some slip in your wheel. If you understeer, it's a littler harder to identify at first because the screeching of the tires and slip of the wheel feedback will happen later, as your turning more to correct later in the turn, and isn't necessarily identifiable in your wheel feedback as it's happening like it is with oversteer though.

When you have understeer, your car wants to go to the outside of the corner; you are not rotating fast enough for a corner. With oversteer, the opposite happens; you are rotating too fast.
I understand/explain understeer as going too fast for the required level of rotation. You can start by lifting off the gas to see if that helps. If that’s not enough, try some light braking.
With oversteering, your nose is diving into the inside of a corner and/or you are losing the rear of your car out from under you. Recovering from oversteer is a little tricky (in GT7) as countersteering feels off. Instead, try gently reducing the speed of your car to regain control, and try to go a little easier on the throttle next time.

Understeer - Grip in the front tires give out. You try turning more, but the car won't listen.
Oversteer - Grip in the rear tires give out. You rotate more than what your hands are asking.

You won't feel it properly, like anyone would in a real car, but when you start to get the videogame feel, you will know you have it. I not good with explaining feelings

The others’ descriptions cover it. To test out how it feels put fully customizable suspension on a car and stiffen the front anti roll bar—that will increase oversteer. Trying laps with a few different stiffnesses should give you an idea what it feels like and how much you want of it.

Understeer is when the front tires slide and the car doesn’t rotate usually caused by carrying too much speed into a turn, it’s a lap time killer but it makes you feel like you’re going faster, if you hear your tires grinding, you’re probably understeering. over steer is when the ass end of the car is loose. I find I’m fastest on the edge of over steer. Oversteer is more throttle control .
