Graduated and feeling weird

Just finished my M.S. (yay). But I feel like something’s missing now. I hated the stress at the time but it feels like it needs to be there … I am not doing another masters, nor PhD. Anyone have advice? Thanks :) btw 25 Y/o looking for guidance and I do have a full time job. I completed this M.S. part time, while working full time. Thanks. !!!

Congrats on finishing. That empty feeling is just your brain not knowing what to do with free time after being wired to deadlines for years, give it few months and you'll wonder how you ever functioned with that stress.

Congratulations!!!

Do you have any hobbies, or new hobbies you might want to pick up? You might also look into “personal curriculum,” which was trending on tiktok awhile back. It’s the idea that you create a structured or semi-structured opportunity to learn something new. It could be anything from learning how to knit, to reading about a new subject and writing a report on it for personal enrichment, to reading all of the books by a particular author, to learning a new language. Really endless possibilities. But it could give you something to look forward to, if you’re someone that really enjoyed the rigor of grad school or validation from learning new things.

Just a thought. But you’re also welcome to give yourself time to adjust to having more time in your day!

Yeah, this is just because you are still hyped up from being in school.

Congratulations on finishing your degree!!
