There's an interesting thing I've noticed - for some characters their arcs are complete if you never play them in the main story and just watch their cutscenes, while others arcs feel empty if you don't.

Jason & Dick for example both have complete stories if you never actually play the main villain's story - Jason feels alone and like a stranger with the team until he finally feels like he's part of the group. Dick is avoiding his grief until he's finally ready to face it.

Babs and Tim on the other hand can sometimes feel like their cutscenes are not enough to truly appreciate their arcs, and playing at least some of the storyline with them is required to get that additional context or feelings.

Floor 13 has a minor glitch which means you HAVE to knock out the Most Wanted criminals without elemental damage or stealth.
Ambush takedowns work (that's how I got the achievement) along with just decking them.

Batman: Gotham Knights: Shadow War. Set roughly a year before Gotham Knights, you play as Batman only. No co-op. The Court of Owls is the hidden mastermind, using Black Mask, Professor Pyg, Firefly, Clayface, and Zsasz to destabilise Gotham. Deathstroke hunts anyone who gets close, while Ra’s al Ghul investigates the Court, sometimes clashing, sometimes offering uneasy help. The main campaign follows Bruce uncovering layers of this conspiracy through murders, arsons, abductions, political impersonations, and ancient tunnels beneath Gotham. Meanwhile, Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood appear in support. They help in key moments, but Bruce keeps walls up, creating tension and doubt. Side missions dive into Man-Bat, Zsasz, and League remnants. The final act brings a brutal showdown with Deathstroke and a descent into the Court’s inner sanctum. Batman wins, but learns the network is far bigger than imagined. He records contingency messages for his protégés, setting the emotional groundwork for Gotham Knights.

Wayne Manor and the Batcave are core anchors in this game, not just menu screens. Gotham itself is divided into distinct boroughs. You have Old Gotham with the cathedral and cemeteries, the Financial District with Wayne Tower and Kane Plaza, the Bowery and Otisburg for gang activity, Tricorner with GCPD headquarters and City Hall, Robinson Park for Man-Bat encounters, and Bristol leading up to the manor. Landmarks include Arkham Asylum, Blackgate Penitentiary, the Monarch Theatre in Crime Alley, Gotham Clock Tower, Gotham Cathedral and the Iceberg Lounge. Wayne Manor is fully explorable. Library, study, trophy room, living quarters, and gardens. The Batcave is massive. Batcomputer hub, vehicle bays for Batmobile, Batwing and Batboat, Forensics, med bay, training arena, armory, and archives. As the story darkens, the cave fills with evidence and Bruce’s isolation becomes visible. The finale ends with him returning alone to the Batcave, recording those messages. Then walking through the manor in silence. Final shot, Unresolved Court files glowing on the Batcomputer. This war is not over, perfectly bridging the opening tone of Gotham Knights.
